2 days ago Herbert was way ahead of burrow, now all of a sudden that’s not the case.

plain and simple most on the boards slept on a really good bengals team

I never agreed with that though.. always been a borruw fan.. herbert was just getting more hype in the media i guess and thats what 98% of people go by nowadays

They weren’t open nearly as often as you think lol, Lamar was seeing the field pretty well yesterday he just rarely got time to plant and follow through with his throws. I saw a number of plays where Lamar saw receivers who were a step or 2 from uncovering but he had to scramble because there was nowhere for him to set and throw, he saw the throw he just had no opportunity.

now I know Lamar was off yesterday, his arm was shaky as hell until the second half, but the constant was that receivers were not getting open consistently and when they were he was often pressured already

Bateman looked even better. He seems to have a lot of YAC potential.

oh yeah bateman's a YAC guy for sure - idk that he's someone who'll house it the way chase can (chase is special in that way at that size) but he's good and efficient getting upfield after the catch and could break one especially on those RPO slants etc.

only time i can think of is when hollywood got matched up on the LB and lamar had to bail out of the pocket and threw it to andrews instead

when was the other time?

because he also hit hollywood twice (once out of bounds because hollywood got pushed into the boundary - good corner play) on the deep shots

Along with this, the markets are so drastically different. I know no one really gives a shit about the Chargers but it's still LA. No one gives a shit about Cincinnati at all.

I saw some plays where Hollywood was about to uncover but Lamar had to move to avoid the sack and never came clean. I don’t recall any obvious misses from him.

I think the biggest issue this week was the lack of screen and dump offs, when you have a shit OL you really need to emphasize that kind of thing.

With Stanley, Dobbins ,Edwards .Boyle(soon),Peters and Judon staying i think we would be a Super Bowl contender.

we seem to run those RPOs maybe 2 or 3 times a game at the moment - idk why we dont run them more - it's easy money every single time

it feels like we sometimes forget that we're allowed to do it because it feels like cheating lol - chiefs do those RPOs all the time

i think he's better outside but he's pretty good in the slot although uzomah cooked him out of the slot albeit it's tough when you're in chase down the seam with no safety help

ive just seen a clip of one of jamarr's releases and it's absolutely filthy - like obviously humphrey had a poor game but i think some are missing just how good chase is already 7 games into his career

it is just exceedingly unfair that this play doesnt get to matter lol
unbelievable play that doesnt even really register as a footnote because this game was a complete blowout basically from this moment onwards
