Next Up: Bye Bye Marty, Pees and Harbaugh?

I love this kid. He’s shown so much potential as a rookie. I like how he gets in everyone’s faces, including the Punters lol. He has some serious swagger. Excited to see him develop.
i actually love his personality though. He a competitor and really works to get better. He wants to be the best.. i like that about him.

So, there's one person in the world who thinks Marlon isn't a good player and you guys find it necessary to argue with him, regardless of that person's posting history? WTF?

Gotta have something to do in the offseason lol

Seriously, what’s not to like about this kid. As Rossi said, people are holding his college tape against him.

No but not as flawless as he is making them sound. And y does everybody here look for anything positive on a player?? But if he said something negative you all would be attacking writers credibility!! Like u all do with pff. When a raven u have hopes for gets a good rating it's golden and posted all over the place. But when it isn't so favorable then pff is flawed.
It’s all subjective and I’m not a huge fan of PFFs grading system, but the pff elite that has the premium statistics is very good. Btw, what you say doesn’t go around here, everyone is allowed their opinions. However we have been backing Humphreys play up from multiple sources and you still don’t give him any credit. He’s been one of the top rookies this year and an even better cb in a position that is very difficult to learn. You will never give him credit, every time he gets beaten you bring it up, but you certainly don’t say anything when he’s shutting a top player down, like Brown and Green when he was covering him.

My posting history dude?? It doesn't include saying perriman was gonna be great. Doesn't defend Ozzies drafting of late. I never ranted about Kufusi's freakish 3 cone and how the 3 cone resembles a rush toward the QB. I never said Correa drives through his tackles. I never said max was a steal. I never said ravens have an embarrassment of riches at WR.lol I saved these threads and comments not to make people look bad. Cuz I'm not like that unless somebody really irritates me. I saved it cuz people resorting to anger and name calling cuz everybody doesn't believe particular players are gonna be studs. To get that emotional and angry at the notion a player could bust is ridiculous. And to get that emotional and angry to resort to name calling over an opinion a player won't be premier is irrational. BECAUSE the player could bust or be mediocre. And anybody that got emotional and attacked somebody over a played that did bust anyways should be ashamed. So I saved threads to show what is the point?? of anger and name calling over a player that could bust or become mediocre anyways!!

Does anyone know what time Harbaugh’s press conference is today?

You can be sure he wasn't covering Brown and Green alone. Especially after getting cooked by 32 yr old journeyman Brandon lafell several times. Then tackled him as he was blowing by him.

It’s not kufusi, it’s Kaufusi. Please spell the players names correctly.

Mark my word and keep it if you want, because I’ve always been one of Humphrey’s biggest fans, back to his college days. He will be one of the better corners in this league. We disagree on Ozzie, but that’s ok, because imo and many others he had an amazing draft in 2016, still too early to truly evaluate the draft but I see that draft as a big turning point. 2014 was good as well as 2017, again too early to tell on 2017. Two starters is considered a good draft anything more than that is gravy. That is not just my opinion.

You want to call people out for their love of players, ok, here’s one for you. You were on Rashard Robinson’s jock since 2016. He’s one of the worst corners in the league, but you would have drafted him. Of course you’ll twist that and will never say you made a mistake. I’ll say it’s too early as he may improve, but as of now, he’s downright pitiful.

Lots of talent evident of shutting down mike Evans man up. But a head case. And yes if he can walk a line I say he is gonna be great!! He has Lattimore skill!!

Players get burned and of course you can’t give him any credit, you won’t admit being wrong.

He was repeatedly cooked by Lafell. Even tackled him as he was blowing by him AGAIN!! And dude I can acknowledge being wrong. If Humph becomes pro bowl caliber I'll say I'm wrong and be happy we have 2 young cornerbacks. Young is my favorite cornerback in the league. Young is AWESOME. If he were 5'11 185 he would be the best in the league and a chance at first ballot hof!! Tavon plays like a young version of Samari Rolle but lil smaller

But of course you’ll ignore his season, it’s what you do.

I saw him getting deep fried by 32 yr old journeyman Brandon Lafell. But not enough to determine how good or bad he is gonna be. I think he will be an ok to good cornerback but not special
That’s a very general statement and is different for everyone. Elaborate.

He’s already above average

We call Injuries as our excuse every year. The problem is we are not deep in personnel at all and injuries do hurt us worse than other top teams due to that lack of depth. That lack of Depth is Ozze Newsome's fault. He's been drafting like he's a girl scout for years. We don't have room for injuries. Our schedule was cupcake and we couldn't get it done. It's not a player problem, it's a ownership problem. Our owner is not a smart football man. He thinks he is, but he is pitiful. Let him reap what he is sowing.

No, most legitimately cite injuries in a year like 2017 or 2015 when the roster is absolutely decimated top to bottom.

We're not talking just losing a few role players or fringe starters... we're talking star impact players, multiple quality starters, and at several positions groups 3+ players.

There is no team that can regularly withstand that type of impact. Definitely not hit the ground running after the run of them.

And yet, after sustaining those injuries the team got on a roll. Yes bc of some of our key players balling, but also bc the depth stepped the fuck up. Alex Collins, Buck Allen, and Patrick Ricard is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Levine, Onwuasor, Chuck Clark, Canady and Humphrey having to play as much as they did down the stretch is scraping the bottom of the depth barrel. Especially playing the safeties that much in coverage. And not many teams can sustain losing a top end guy of Jimmy Smith's caliber to begin with.

Skura, Jensen, and Hurst playing as much as they did and Eluemenor having to play at all was scraping the barrel. And not many teams can sustain losing guys of Yanda's and Wagner's caliber in the same offseason, let alone 4 starters from the previous years line and having a frequently injured LT. But they did, and thats serious depth.

Chris Moore, Campanaro, and Nick Boyle having to be reliable targets was not supposed to be any plan.

Now the LB group needs depth. And it hurt us. And trying to alleviate that concern with a rotation of safeties i think hurt us more.

But a team relying on depth across the board, and in a lot of places the depth to the depth to the depth, that was one of the hottest teams down the stretch (the offense was depleted but rolling for 6 weeks, and they didnt play the backup QB so dont give me that). And almost made up for a horrendous start.

Again its not an excuse. They could have and SHOULD have made the playoffs even with all the injuries. But its a really shitty argument to say the FO sucks bc we dont have depth.
