He's a halfwit to begin with, how could you even tell the difference?

It's like the rugby league players in Australia who intentionally do really badly in the pre-season cognitive tests, so if they get concussed in a game during the season they're more likely to pass the test because they had a lower bar to begin with.

Come to think of it, I wonder how much that goes on in the NFL. As much as I defend the NFL for its "wussification" of the league the players can't really complain if they pull stunts like that and have problems later in life.
