The 2022 Offseason Thread

tbf davante adams is probably not a great example - our very own coach dubb helped him go from a good-not-great receiver coming off some poor form to maybe the best in the league and certainly the best at the release
What about the rest of the guys that were adams team?

um you mean the other receivers for the packers? they didnt work with keith williams...
dubb was an offseason route coach who worked with players not teams (sammy watkins and tyreek hill being 2 other examples) - they worked together separate to the team and adams has frequently credited dubb with refocusing him and helping him take a massive leap

So, who replaces Ingram? An in-house candidate or someone from outside? Ideally, if it were up to me, I'd send demote Roman to TE coach and hire a new OC! I can dream right??

I mean everyone or anyone who was there.. im not saying dubb doesnt get credit but its 10000% easier to help a guy like adams than it is boykin. He may train 100 wrs but the only ones we will see improvement from are the few that already has certain traits. Its not like he turning trash into greatness..

I wasn’t saying that - just pointed out that when you were saying coaches don’t matter that davante Adams probably wasn’t the best example to use because of the way Dubb helped him

does anyone think theres a chance that taven bryan could be a guy who needs a culture change? like is he redeemable in any way as a cheap young free agent at a position where were gonna need to invest through multiple outlets? a jihad ward type of situation perhaps?

It would be comedy if we take him in and turn his career around. Jags fans always tagged him as the “guy they took over lamar.” Lol

He's been really bad but I'm also of the opinion that if you think there's something there, doesn't hurt to take a shot for the minimum.
