never had a stitched Nike, but the Reebok replithentics didn’t hold up over time at all compared to the Nike decals, I remember the gold on the numbers getting spotty and the black turned to grey after like 3 washes

Read an article on BR.com and it had some excerpts from the Bateman Studio 44. The takeaways were Bateman feels its his time and is looking to be the leader of the room. But interestingly, he said he was just a rookie and one that missed a bunch of time at that. So he isn't 100% sure of how things are done so he reached out specifically to James Proche to ask him for help in leading the room.
To me that says a lot. Clearly Bateman believes mentally and physically Proche is the other guy in this room right now.

I still think we add one vet. But the point remains the same. Let's the guys cook and see what we can do.
I still find it interesting that out of the two options of older guys compared to Bateman, he chose James over Duv.
for someone that has at times been a gameday inactive the last 2 years, it's interesting how often he's the first guy brought up by people in the building when asked about the in-house receiver room
i dont want to get pulled into hope+hype season because we've seen this so many times before, but i am hopeful about proche and wallace in particular to at least become contributors if not starters

Yes totally agree. I think one of the best things we can do is limit Duvernays snaps in favor of the other two.
I agree, but I'm not sure this will happen.

It'll be hard to limit anyones snaps until you get a 5th guy in here. Things aren't as dire as we make them out to be. When Hollywood was on the team we thought of the group as super solid. We're missing WR2 for sure but I'm sure between UDFA, FA, cuts, and trades we can find that guy.
tbh i dont think it's about limiting duvernay's snaps, it's more, to me, about not increasing his snaps just because there's a gap - his current snap and play share is fine for what he is - maybe a slight uptick if he can make a jump with his route-tree and we see him used a little more in those RPOs on backside slants etc. and maybe he takes some of the hollywood quick-short game stuff like screens
i'd like other guys to take over most of the missing snaps, but i'm fine with duvernay continuing with the snaps he had last year

Big explicit comment from Harbs today. Brandon Stephens is a corner/safety now as opposed to a safety/corner.
Stephens hasn't played Safety these last 2 practices and has been playing CB. Interestingly particularly on the outside but also inside.
Makes me think Chuck is staying.

Mark Andrews is always a very complimentary person and always a great interview, but he seemed particularly excited by our rookie tight tends.
Said they have a natural knack for football and seem to be way ahead of where he was as a rookie. I don't know how true that is but even if one of them turns out to be an effective guy year 1, we could have a really strong room

In an announcement Wednesday, a player designated for return from injured reserve must miss a minimum of four games.
Additional changes to the I.R. rule allow a team to designate for return up to eight players over the course of the season, and the same player can be activated two separate times, though that would count twice to the team's total of eight. Last season, a designated-for-return I.R. player only had to miss a minimum of three contests. On top of the changes for injured reserve, practice squad rosters were voted to stay at 16, and up to six veterans are still eligible to join each practice squad.

Ehh, maybe. Geno Stone is still in the picture, whom the Ravens obviously like.
With the signing of Fuller, you don't necessarily have to play 3 safety looks, but you still can. When Fuller wasn't here, it was hard to see an ideal 4 Corner package, especially in Dime. Now you can play four corners and two safeties, which is much more of a traditional Dime anyway.
Also noting that the likelihood of us having our top 4 Corners and both of our Safeties fully healthy for extended periods of time is extremely low. Stephens hybrid ability is great, but he's probably just a bigger need at Corner at the moment. Maybe that changes slightly with Clark here, but if Williams and Hamilton are healthy all year (and we've had pretty good luck with Safety health in recent years), they're probably never coming off the field anyway. That puts Clark or whoever is in that role as a sub-package player almost exclusively.
