I enjoy betting on sports. It's fun as long as you don't bet or lose huge and have some many to spare. My favorite thing about the Superbowl is the stupid yet funny bets.
List anything you find interesting or locks below.

NBA wise, fucking love the Trail Blazers and the Heat. Both very underrated so they always have good odds to pick. Also anyone against the Lakers or Mavs.

NHL: San Jose always seems to do well, as they are physical and consistent. Also like the Bruins in many matchups.

Been sports betting on nearly every sport for a while now, very up and down thing as you'd imagine. Did decent with the nfl this year though. NBA I don't really follow anymore, I guess i'll go with 76ers til ben simmons goes to another team, golden state are cool despite bandwagoners, celtics are alright I spose.
NHL is always the bruins that one should be obvious lol. Baseball is the Oakland A's which is nothing but torture to be a fan of.

Before the Pats were so popular, the Red Sox were the most popular team in Boston. They are still right up there. Bostonians love their baseball.

Not sure what you actually mean by that statement.

i mean that the red sox had won less than the cubs before 04 and they choked hard in the ws against the mets. So I have zero clue for the love for them. The bruins would be a better pick or celtics.

Winning doesn’t matter with these fans. Sure, they wanted the team to win, but they love the franchise and the Red Sox epitomize Boston. They had plenty of success prior to winning 3 word series since 2004, they just hadn’t won the World Series in years.

If you are only rooting for a team because they are winners, you’re rooting for them for the wrong reasons.

Btw, how many orioles fans don’t root for the team because they haven’t won a World Series since 1983? It’s not about rooting for a winner for these fans.

i get that and all, but if we are going on the reason why pats werent that popular in boston til 97 then you'd think the sox would be similar. but i guess theres something about that franchise boston loved more. Either way now im rooting for losers and cheap owners in baseball now lol

The Red Sox have been popular in Boston forever. It’s a baseball town and the most popular team by far used to be the Red Sox, the Pats are much closer now as the younger generation has completely grasped onto the Pats.

Bovada poker so suspect but the betting is cool. That's what I use.

How did I forget about this thread. We must as a collective conspire against Vegas. Get a little pool going and discuss bets beforehand here.

Bovada has us -1.5 at Cinci. Definitely taking us and buying the half point. Let me know what you all think.

I may be an idiot, but what does "having us -1.5" mean. And "taking it" etc.
IDK the first thing about sports betting.

I'm not sure how fast he'll be back on but the -1.5 means you're giving the other team those points to start ie meaning your the favorite. So therefore if the Ravens win 22-20 you win. If its 21-20 Ravens you lose since Ravens didn't cover cuz technically you lost 21.5 to 21.

We're favored to win by 1.5 points. - means favored and + means you're the underdog. With .5 you are usually allowed to buy the half point but it lowers your payout.
