2018 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

Note: The rule for deleting bids has been officially augmented moving forward. Since we have multiple members whom are able to access the content of deleted posts, should a member delete their bid and incur the 15 minute penalty, the penalty will be immediately waved as soon as the bid is resubmitted. This does not mean that the value of the bid can be changed. If you placed a legitimate bid for X amount of Stars, deleted the bid, and resubmitted the bid, you will still be liable for the prior amount.

The same rules still apply for editing bids, which incurs a strict 15 minute penalty since we are unable to see the previous content. The point here is that if you submit a bid incorrectly, please do not alter or delete it for your own benefit. Simply resubmit the corrected version via another post.

Iirc you don't have to mention the player's position in a bid. As far as everyone else is concerned it doesn't matter if you're treating him as a CB, LB, WR (if you're the Ravens) or sTrOnG sAfEtY. The main thing is getting the player's name spelled correctly because if someone's searching through the thread for the player in question one typo can throw the whole thing off and lead to a veritable clusterfuck of invalid bids because one bid didn't show up in the search.

That or in previous years gone by I submitted a whole load of invalid bids....
