I would’ve definitely taken Willis if he was there when we picked in the 4th. Kind of a no brainer honestly because it gives you a better backup. Sucks he went in the 3rd

I’d love to add one of these RBs still on the board

Isaiah spiller and Dameon pierce probably my favourite guys remaining

Kyren Williams too

Would love to leave the draft with one of those 3

Yeah, I think we should be looking at…

1. Edge
2. CB
3. RB
4. OT
5. TE
6. WR

Not super impressed by WR but it’s also not a bad group. The CB & Edge class is very solid so I’d definitely get some dudes here right now and begin doing your UDFA work too.

Laughing at the Patriots right now on this day 3 morning. One NFL exec apparently said he reached out to a bunch of teams/connects and not one had more than a 3rd round grade on Strange. Said if he was interested in Strange, the range would have been early today.

Hey, maybe he ends up like Travis Frederick who everyone thought the Cowboys over drafted but was a Hell of a pick in hindsight.

At least it came out that there were other teams lurking on Frederick in early round 2. This one just sounds like no one had Strange even close to a 1.

tbh i know it's scouts day but the board's still got enough guys on it that i'd continue to just stack BPA picks and let the board fall to us

right now i've got a few guys who are far and away the best guys available:

Zyon McCollum (outrageous traits and tools)
Perrion Winfrey
Daniel Faalele
Jamaree Salyer (I can't believe he didn't go on day 2)
Isaiah Spiller
Dameon Pierce
Rasheed Walker
Malcolm Rodriguez
Kingsley Enagbare

all of those guys are in my top 75 prospects

I'm a little surprised and disappointed Faalele didn't get drafted yesterday.

Today is going to be so exciting!! Especially for rossi who was really our only member of the SIIE committee for 6 4th round picks

dude i dont get why everyone was trying to "fuck them picks" all of yesterday

i get wanting an extra day 2 pick but with how high we're picking in the 4th it didnt make any sense to me unless someone was falling who had no right to be in range and i dont think that was ever the case

so yeah im pumped lol - still a ton of talent on the board - people really werent lying when they said this draft has a fat middle and is deep - I, by no means, did an exhaustive board this year (i just didnt find the time to get to everyone) but ive still got 60ish draftable prospects left and that doesnt even include the millions of WRs who might be left too

Feels weird that we've drafted so well but somehow still haven't really filled too many holes. Like obviously Ojabo will eventually fill a hole but still need a guy right now, whether that be a vet or a rookie.

All in all, I think you could still look at us adding some of the following:
RB
WR
TE
OT
DT
ILB
OLB
CB x2

tbf i saw someone who said the highest any teams were on Cole was around the late 2nd, early 3rd - i dont think he would have made it out of day 2 but it's highly probably that he would have made it out of R2

but from the Rams reaction, we can bet they thought he might be around at the end of R3

I will say... a lot more guys fell than what I thought. I know the 3rd round is typically when you start seeing the board disparity across the league but it started earlier and with more rigor than I had anticipated.

We'll I agree but I thought McCollum singularly was way overdue. He's like 40 picks overdue for you! Hahaha. He would have been my only guy but so far patience has worked out.

I wonder if Christopher Allen will make it to our 6th. If we had an extra 4th I might take a shot on him then, but the injuries and lack of play time concern me.

BPA baby!
just get good players and sort the needs out before/after - while im not in love with the free agent market, it's not like there arent potential stop-gaps out there if we need them - can't rely on 4th round picks to fill needs given that statistically only 20% of them are likely to even contribute, let alone start...

luckily for us, with the depth of this EDGE class and the way the board is stacked right now at OT and CB and RB, I think we should be able to get a shot at guys at some of those positions
