2018 NFL Draft

now id prefer ridley, i wouldve preferred moore and not getting that 4th, id prefer gesicki, but i dont hate the pick.

feels empty, because hurst doesnt seem special, hes older, he is outshined by other receiving TEs this class, we shouldve taken ridley.

So.........

- Bills get Tremaine Edmunds.
- Panthers get DJ Moore
- Falcons get Calvin Ridley

All three of which we will face this season.

Age is literally one of the few things working against Hurst. For taking time off from football to play baseball, that dude is still NFL ready at TE which is a rarity. I love it but that should be no surprise as he was the pick in my mock.

I'd figure with his age being an issue he would have been an option to the Pats at 23 since they are in win now mode to get Brady another Super Bowl ring before he retires.

And what I've been saying all along, the more you hype a player up, the more likely that said player will end up to a divisional rival, a hated team, or someone who we play next season. DJ Moore is the latest example....

Reinforces my statement.

Ah the Ravens trying to help out the Orioles I see(who have lost twice to the Rays already... the RAYS!!!)

Although Goedert was my favorite TE, I agree he is the most pro ready and to trade back and pick up decent draft capital, I think this was a more than solid pick and someone who will start day one.

Man, the #Ravens really love over-investing in bad tight ends. 2015-2017 South Carolina QBs When Targeting Hayden Hurst: 69.0 South Carolina QBs When Targeting All Other Players: 87.9

congrats. We got a guy that'll be number 2 TE and retired soon enough
