How high do you think the FO is on him? They must have balls of steel if he's been one of their top guys all this time.

Fwiw the fifth-year option will be interesting if he turns out to be our guy too, so I can definitely see the case for trading up for him.

I think it just got to the point where the saw a potential franchise QB available at 32 and had to take it. They have to believe in him. I'd imagine this was much more preferable to giving up these huge hauls to get into the top 5 in any other year.

Honestly, from what we have seen in previus QB trades during the draft. We didn't give up as much as other teams have had in the past. Now we can have Flacco go out for passes and Lamar throwing to Joe.

Hard to imagine a better offensive coordinator for Lamar Jackson than Marty Mornhinweg, who had Michael Vick. The #Ravens likely have him sit a year, learn, then fully commit to a new offense for 2019.
