The DL, The Lamar and Another Blown Lead

The problem with the Ravens offense is the problem they've had for years now. Look at KC, they can get away with letting go of Tyreek because they've always won based off of scheme. We just don't have the creativity in the passing game in order to take advantage of opening up defenses.

Besides that credit to the fans who pointed out how horrible the WR depth was prior to the season started. I understand the Ravens made an "attempt" to get a WR but those plans fell through(Silly because you just can't allow yourself to be devoid at the WR position, if you have a need as bad as we had at WR you fill it, no excuses). They pulled the rug under us with Proche; the fact that this guy is barely seeing action with the depth being as bad as it is means they never had high hopes in him to begin with, which makes ignoring the WR position inexcusable to begin with. You know what's even more damning? We've been seeing a ton of man coverage this year...

I mean you can't win in this league phasing out the WR position, it's inconceivable. There's a reason why DBs are getting paid big bucks, it's hard to cover these guys. Even if you have a fringe 1k yard guy on the field, it's very hard to cover him 1v1. I mean, we can't even with on slant or mesh routes at this moment, we can't even see success on slant routes with the guys we put out there. Outside of Duvernay who do you trust to run a go or sluggo route?

Beyond that, this defense is extremely disappointing this season. Bynes was out of position on what looked like zone? I might have to watch the film again but he was lost and Marlon could not make a play in time. Obviously McDonald is playing more zone this year than Wink last year but man Bynes in drop back situations has been an abomination IMO. We don't have anyone that we can trust in Tampa 2 or any other cover 2 variation because we just don't have the personnel for it. Sad and harsh reality about zone coverage is that you need good coverage LBs in order to play it. With Marcus Williams being out, it's only going to get worse.

Also, not getting off the field on 3rd in long situations? Pathetic. The whole idea of zone coverage is allow the short passes and not get beat deep. How do you consistently not take advantage of these situations?

I have to watch the All-22 for more, but overall just very disappointing week. See you all next sunday....

Hamilton - Bust
Oweh- Turning into a Bust
MacDonald-DC - Bust
Cleveland -Bust in Waiting
Queen - Bust -Add in rest of linebackers
Stout - Overrated and could end up a bust
Proche-Bust

We are getting lots of busts .
I'll give you Queen, he's been a disappointment overall, but how is Oweh a bust? He hasn't even been playing as bad as people make it out to be lol. He's been pretty good past couple weeks IMO.

I think Hamilton's play has improved a ton and it's not easy being a deep safety in this league. How can you call a player a bust after 6 games?

Also, you can't claim Proche, Cleveland, and Stout are busts. They were picked in the late rounds. You have any idea how much of a crapshoot the draft is at that point?

I'll spare McDonald the grief of calling him a bust but I'll admit that he's off to a rough start.

The eye test tells me Hamilton is not gonna make it in the NFL .

I feel like trading for DJ Moore at this point is rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. There are major fundamental problems with this team right now, and he isn't going to solve most of them.

I still can’t believe we lost to a Daniel Jones led team. Just uphill from here

I LOVE Marcus Williams. I think he's elite at his position. But look at Geno Stone. I get it, it was 1 game sample size against Daniel Jones, but did anyone actually notice a difference? No because S is not one of the most impactful positions most of the time.

On the other hand Zadarius Smith already has 5.5 sacks this season. Imagine if we didn't low ball the absolute shit out of him and actually paid him what a pass rusher is worth.

I guarantee you this team is substantially better with Zadarius Smith compared to Marcus Williams unfortunately. I am no fan whatsoever of building from the back in. ESPECIALLY when the middle is complete garbage.

100%. The game is still won and lost between the trenches. No idea how Baltimore got away from that tough team physicality it was always known for
