The Offensive Line Thread

As much as this is true, I'd rather have a healthy Siragusa than Elumenor who's very raw. As great as Stanley is in pass pro, he's one man. Flacco might have a ton of pressure coming to the blind side now because we are starting a fifth round rookie? Does he have a lot of potential? Yes, but he's not ready yet(granted I have yet to see the preseason game because it doesn't air until tomorrow in california). I'm even more pissed now than I was before about the lack of addressing the offensive line. It should have been a top priority. Again, these new changes and whatnot don't matter if Flacco goes down. From what I heard last night, the right side of the line, and Jensen should be fine, and Stanley is a stud. But having someone who could potentially be a massive Gino Gradkowski esq liability makes me very concerned. I have full confidence in Stanley, Yanda, Howard going forward and hearing good things about Jensen is awesome. But I still have to see it to believe it for Hurst, and have 0 faith in the depth.

Just saying. We need to make more moves and should have made this a bigger priority. I want Ozzie's head if Flacco goes down with a major injury, which I think is inevitable at this point sadly.
Dude, I'm telling you, hurst looked like a legitimate starter last night. I've hated hurst as much as anyone, but he was excellent, didn't give up an inch in pass pro and he got guys off the ball in the run, if he plays that way all year then he will actually be an upgrade to Wagner.

Now whether or not he plays that way all year is another story, but if last night was any indication then we are fine with our starting 5 regardless of the LG

I have yet to see it for myself and I am praying that you and @The Raven are correct about this.

Something set a fire under his ass for sure. He looked strong and confident and refined.
He wasn't a bad prospect coming out of North Carolina. I think maybe it was motivation but also perhaps he likes the scheme better. Who knows.

Reading the news feed this afternoon like:

I was always confused af as to why he turned into such a scrub. He was super hyped his draft year as a late round guy who was only going late because of an injury.

I feel like a few things happened, he muscled up because he was clearly stronger, and he looked a lot more confident so I think the scheme also played a part.

Maybe it's a perfect storm and he's finally gonna become a starter

Whats easier? RG or LG. I think Elumenor has to start
I think most would say RG because the 3T tends to line up on the right side of the line and the right guard is usually going one on one with him.

Basically, do you want him seeing McCoy, Suh, Donald or do you want him avoiding them?
