Lamar Jackson

That superbowl run the Bengals had really warped everyone’s perception of him
Meh whatever, I've accepted that everyone is going to think of Burrow as this generations Marino. Does he deserve it, probably not with him having 2 WR1s but everyone is going to look at his numbers and blame his defense for him never winning a super bowl despite him getting more support from his defense in the playoffs than Lamar has ever received.

Ravens were historically bad last year defensively until the end of the year. Yet somehow we managed to win games and Lamar didn’t turn the ball over in key situations in the 4th to lose games like Burrow did throwing an Int to Marlo.

Allen and Jackson are above Burrow

If Burrow had to play a whole season without Chase it would finally become apparent to some just how much help Chase is, there are some people that think Chase is a product of Burrow which is wild when you actually just watch the plays

That run is what casuals claimed Flaccos run was.

And this opened an old wound. Any other qb runs through 2 greats and one of the best defenses that year would get so much more recognition. And the Denver game doesn't get nearly the attention it should as one of the all time playoff games.

Imagine if Flacco had Chase and Higgins

I don't know, outside of the Pats game Flacco was pretty good that run. The defense definitely helped him out against the Pats though. Really hope this year the defense can hold in theAFC Championship instead of putting Lamar and Monken into shootout mode
He played really good against the Patriots. 3 TDs and a few big runs

Flacco played out of his mind. Our defense was nowhere near the feared defense of old during that run due to injuries. They had some timely turnovers but make no mistake, Flacco was out of his mind. Never seen that from him like that

He started really slowly. We only had two first downs on our first three drives and Flacco was 8/19 at one pointin the game. But Flacco came alive in the second half of the game and then our defense forced four total turnovers, two ints one fumble and got one fourth down stops to help us win the game.

That first half was on Jim Caldwell. I remember an interview post game where Joe talked about him and Anquan demanding from coaches to stop being scared and open up. Pierce helped with a couple of big runs, too.

There’s sideline footage of Flacco telling one of the coaches something along the lines of “we can’t win a Super Bowl this way” in regards to the conservative play calling of the first half.

There’s the philosophy change in the 2nd half, and then aqib talib going down, that really sparked that win, talib was absolutely blanketing boldin that first half.

Yea, I don’t feel bad either since they only beat us in 2014 because everyone in our secondary was hurt

Okay, the offense as a whole started slowly. I still say that the defense absolutely played their asses off in that game. I'd kill for the defense to produce four turnovers and allow zero second half pounts in a playoff game in the Lamar era

Total team effort but I'll give the offense more credit for finally string together consecutive good games. Everything was just clicking at the right time.

It still bothers me how kicked in the mouth they got against the Cheifs, and if not for the holding call it would have been a total disaster

The defense played terribly in the first half, I don't know why more fans don't bring it up. They put up no resistance at all in the first half. Sure, they were great in the second half but their play in the first half changed how our offense played the rest of the game

Yeah, IDK. It’s probably not brought up because we were only down 10 points at half, not like it was a huge deficit that would change a game plan.
Looking at the game as a whole the D did their job, gotta score more than 10 to win a championship game.

Yeah i was sitting in a bar in Hawaii with 80 percent Chiefs fans and they were saying our D was trash early on.

I was so angry after that game .

It's hard to be angry in Hawaii.
