Yeah there’s Mahomes, and then there’s everybody else. That cat is on a different level. Allen is good but he ain’t Mahomes good.

my ranking of best QBs right now:
Mahomes
Burrow
Herbert (why is no one talking about him?)
Allen
Lamar
Dak
Lawrence
change the order a little if you want, but you can't rank Lamar that low, because there are only so many good QBs.

It seems what sets Mahomes apart from others is his ability to adjust and ad lib when a play breaks down. His agility and creativity aren't things we normally see on the football field. Pat grew up living and breathing baseball, I think that has really helped him to excel as a QB.

I mean in 2019/2020 Lamar was top 5, no question. Since then the injury bug has hurt him, especially in 22. I struggle to find a ranking anywhere that has him top 7 currently, most have him at 9-11.

Also what makes Lamar great is his ability to run the ball and keep defenses on their heels all the time. I still say his passing game is lacking consistency and accuracy. However, scheme and lack of good WR talent has had an effect on that.

I would just add that he is a great leader, much like Manning, Rogers, Brady, etc. He has earned respect from his players and his peers.

yeah, I was like Lamar is this high? when I was ranking him, but the question is, who do you put above him?

Well for 2019 Lamar would be at #1. 2020 I would say he was top 5. Then in 21 & 22 he drops off.

Offer sheets can't be submitted until 4pm Wednesday. Its not because he doesn't have an agent. It's because he's not a UFA.

I have no doubt that teams will and have "talked" to him long before then.
