Lamar Jackson

Ravens Ring of Honor
I wanted to look at Jaylen Smith tape for the draft, and oh man I couldn't help but notice how much Lamar's mechanics have improved since then. I didn't hate his mechanics back then but now that I've seen him in the NFL you see how different he was. I've said it god knows how many times already but his ability to improve every year is his greatest asset.
Jackson is determined to be great. In HS his coach told him he can't let Jackson play because of his grades. Jackson told him he'll be his qb and got straight As the following semester.
In college nobody wanted him as qb except for Louisville. Wasn't a starter but led the cardinals to a comeback win when Petrino switched qbs.
Then when Deion interviewed him after we drafted him he said: it doesn't matter Im a raven they will get a super bowl out of me. You could tell the hunger in his eyes. Only one person in every part of his life(hs college or nfl) gave him a shot, all others criticized him, yet he always delivered.

You forgot the best thing he said when Deion was interviewing him right after the SB comment: Belee Dat. love it.

Exactly and not only his ability to improve, but that he is willing to put in the hard work to learn and improve.

Hard work and work ethic are huge aspects of success and a reason I feel most prospects soar or sour. Tom Brady wouldn’t be who he is nor Brees without their work ethic. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed also had that work ethic and unsurprisingly they are all Hall of Fame players. There are many athletes in the NFL and that is the biggest separator IMO. Lamar has the athleticism but his work ethic is why I’m excited for his future.

I didn’t know lamars personality very well when we drafted him, so I didn’t quite see the fire in him, but now knowing his personality and seeing that interview with prime, that boy was PISSED and he wants to set 31 teams on fire and make the GMs regret passing.

When watching lamar it just seems our offence has more buzz about it. I just think it will take a big stinker of a loss or a bad mistake to quickly go back to joe.

New here, long time reader of the forum

It wouldn't be surprising if they alternate QBs which would give us a vast variety of looks.

I know this is a reverse jinx you are doing but I just checked the sportsbook line and its moved six points in the wrong direction. Whats happened, who died, what do those putzs in vegas know that I don't. Somebody tell me before I hyperventilate. Its almost game time.
Someone bet 300kon the Falcons giving 2.5 pts
