I agree. I think Lamar will throw it a bit more, especially if we get some more playmakers on the outside. The offense should look the exact same unless Yanda retires (plz god no) but I think EDC adds one or two more studs on the outside for Lamar (A.J. Green? Mike Evans trade?)![]()
Is he a FA?Don't put the idea of Mike Evans being a Raven in my head please. He is currently tied with Hopkins as my favorite receiver....
Mike.......Evans.......
MAKE IT HAPPEN EDC, COWARDS DON'T WIN GAMES BRO
BRING MIKE EVANS HOME

Not going to happen. He just signed 5y contract with Bucs for huge money, we're not trading high pick and paying that contract.[/QUOT
I figured it would not be possible, I was just playing into his scenario of trading for him lol
I agree. It would be foolish to go into the year hoping anything. Brown has slowed down this year and that’s probably because he’s playing hurt. I wish we could let him rest but that’s not possible. If we had another guy we’d be really doing well in that regard.I'd rather we draft another fast wr in this crop of super talent next draft. We put more speed opposite Hollywood... The problem safeties would have, then worrying about Andrews. Next thing you know Lamar just decides to take off. I truly think as exciting as this offense is to watch now, it will be much more fun next year.

It's in draft threads, few of us want D. Smith. Perfect fit.I'd rather we draft another fast wr in this crop of super talent next draft. We put more speed opposite Hollywood... Really need to start working my way to that section so I can know who to look out for and what games to watch.

Smith would be perfect fit here for sure. He’s fast and can accelerate but good hands and tracks the ball well. I’m not sure he makes it to us but he’s a guy I would take with our first round pick.if we add some more lightning to the thunder it could be awesome - we've got the big bodies inside who can grind and lean and bully and we've got hollywood who's got the speed to exploit those spaces and lamar also - but if we added another guy and/or boykin takes a step up and/or justice hill shows some progression then this offence suddenly has so much speed that we can be even more diverse with the ways we can knock a team out
I didn’t mean literally. He just hasn’t had many of those games like he did against the Dolphins. I think he was his healthiest that game. Then he got a bit handled by PIT. Some were on him and some on Jackson. But he has slowed down compared to what I saw from Oklahoma. He’ll be okay he just needs a full offseason and he didn’t truly get that even this year. I’d like to see him and Boykin next year with another guy to threaten teams deep.i dont know that brown has slowed down - he had his statistical worst game against the 9ers but that game is an aberration for any of the receivers in it...
i just double checked the game logs and the 10 games he's played are split evenly either side of his missed time: if you look pre and post him missing time for injury the numbers are actually pretty remarkably similar if you exclude the 1st and last game (the 1st game in miami where he got nearly 150 and the last game against the 49ers where he got 1 yard)
the 4 games after miami he totalled 179 yards on 17 catches with 1 td, the 4 games before san francisco he totalled 193 yards on 14 catches and 3 tds
you can completely discount the 9ers game given the weather and if you take it away he's been pretty consistent - the injury may well be holding him back but its not holding him back more than earlier in the year and he's still very much drawing double coverage on quite a few snaps

Okay. We have different opinions. Nothing wrong with that.i just dont know that i agree necessarily - he hasnt had a game like the dolphins but he also has developed since then and defences play us differently than they did then - you're right its not like at oklahoma but its year 1
but its also important to note that he's at times opening up the field for the tight ends etc. he's often drawing double coverage down the field and he's sometimes holding the eyes of the safeties just because of his speed
i agree that he will likely get quicker and stronger and be more effective in year 2 but i think you're really underselling what he does for this team when he's on the field even while hobbled - you only need think back to what our offence looked like without him (cinci and pittsburgh)
Yeah my dad is the same way with his Niners. He HATES the Cowboys more than the Hawks. Hell, he doesn't have any hatred for the Cardinals or Rams. Really weird, but COULD be a generational thing.he still remembers those 70's Super Bowl battles with the Cowboys. It was a huge rivalry then and although it's quite dormant now, many people still consider it a rivalry.
