Lamar Jackson

Lol they're honestly in a tough place. Nobody that really even has the chance to be a franchise qb on the roster and picking super late in the draft.

the benefit of a poor QB class is that there'll still be the top QBs available closer to when they pick if they like one - i could definitely see them convincing themselves on malik willis or sam howell

What should we as Ravens fans think about that?

not sure yet - i think there's a chance of those guys busting but they're the 2 i think who have the biggest chance of becoming high quality QBs with the arm talent and mobility they have - they're probably the 2 toolsiest of the QB class and i imagine the steelers are smart enough to take swings on upside at QB rather than lower ceilings and potential mediocrity...

my early feelings on ridder and pickett are that they kind of are what they are and that's it
i havent really seen much of corral so no idea what kind of range i think he should go in

howell's been the guy, even with a disappointing 2021 season, that ive always thought might be the guy who should go highest and malik willis has the arm and the legs but is really inconsistent... he'll probably give you the 5 best throws but also the 5 worst right now (kind of like josh allen when he was coming out)

Yeah..... The question is are the Steelers good a scouting QBs anymore? It's been like 2 decades. I really hope they miss. It would be really nice for them to be in purgatory for a little while again.

I also hope the Browns keep Mayfield long term.

on the plus side - the last evidence we have of their ability to scout was them drafting mason rudolph in the 3rd round and saying they had a 1st round grade on him... so hopefully that's a sign of things to come

I swear I saw a pic with Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, and Lamar. I read the comment section and folks were saying "taKe LamAr oUt!"
Why would they be wrong? He is in a class all his own, way above those punk QBs! Brady handed the torch to Lamar and that wasn't by accident. Game recognizes game.

In 2012, we tried to extend Flacco at a lower cost prior to the season. Flacco turned it down, won the Super Bowl and got way more in guaranteed money than he would have had if he took the deal in August of 2012.

All I'm saying is the last time our franchise QB turned down a contract before the season, we won the Super Bowl that year. Lamar is a smart man.

Well it's clear now that the Steelers prefer Malik so what we do on Draft Day is right in front of us. So we trade with a team with the specific condition they take Malik at 14.

seen benjamin allbright already talk about top 10 for malik so not sure 14's gonna work - also is pretty confident that 4 QBs are going in round 1

we have to hope that a couple of them go top 14 and push someone down to us

He really meant they were gon get multiple super bowls outta him. He told me that at dinner and pounded his fist like it was pre-ordained. I just got up with tears streaming down my face and in melodramatic fashion, started clapping ever so slowly and then going up to a crescendo. It was quite the emotional scene at home that night my friend. My eyes well up just thinking about that night. Belee dat!
