Lamar Jackson

small sample size of course but... that's the level he's playing at right now
teams are gonna have to stop blitzing him at some point and drop into their shells in coverage... at which point it should pull defenders out of the box and the run game might start picking up that slack (that has to be the hope with the running game that as teams decide they're not gonna die by the passing game that we can kill them in the running game)

Which we will!!

Definitely thinking the same thing. What you're describing is quite literally this....

I rarely watch the national networks but happen to be stuck in a hotel, so I turned on daytime ESPN and immediately regretted it. They are STILL talking about Lamar not winning big games. Paraphrasing, " Lamar is probably going to win the MVP, but it doesn't matter because he can't win big games."

Absolutely brutal listening to this hot garbage, they even brought up his college bowl record.

Well, I mean... until he changes that fact, they're absolutely correct in their analysis lol.

ESPN hasn't realized it's a team game yet. Give them time and one day they will see the light.

They don't pay attention to all the drops he has had and all the yards he has thrown and run for in the playoffs. Since 2019, Lamar has had games where his WRs let him down, his offensive line has let him down and the defense has let him down.

So you don't think Lamar has won a big game yet? I would disagree and say he has won a ton of big games for us already. If you want to argue he wasn't good in the playoffs, that's fine, he really hasn't been. However, 4 not so great games doesnt negate his excellent body of work.

I would disagree with the excuses for Lamar. Every QB deals with that stuff. It's fair to say he hasn't done well in the playoffs. My big gripe is for some folks that negate all the great work he has done outside of those playoff games.

I was referring to playoff games
