Lamar Jackson

Idk why anyone thought he'd be back in less than a month. Been saying since Harbs said week to week, we'd be lucky to see him vs Bengals

I thought one month was the mark based on the little info we had. Bummer he’s not even practicing yet. I’m just preparing for Huntley to hold it down the rest of the way. Maybe we’ll get lucky and we can go on some sort of magic run without Lamar.
 
Lamar's injury is so frustrating because we needed him to have this time to work out our problems with the rest of this offense. He's not going to have that opportunity. GRo is not really going to have that opportunity either.

Lamar is going to be out of shape and practice when he does show back up.

Lamar isn't going to have any acclimation time with Watkins, probably his best receiver lmao

Huntley is not going to win both of the next two games. Think he'd be lucky to win this upcoming one.

Even if we’re one and done, i don’t think it’s a wasted season. Still a 10+ win team and some great moments through out the year. Our top 2 picks also look great to this point. Hopefully they can be foundational pieces.

literally Lamar went out as soon as Andrews, JK, Gus etc. were just coming back

im not in doom and gloom mode yet - as long as lamar is available to play in a playoff game im gonna be hopeful even if i shouldnt be
if lamar doesnt play again this season im gonna be despondent

Yep that's the frustrating thing. Lamar would never had had access to his full potential squad, but just as the part that could come back did, he got hurt. I would've felt souch better about playoffs if he had this time with them. Everything feels like a giant question mark including if we'll even see him again.
 
There's just been a whole lot of stuff that feels "off" with Lamar this year. Just never seemed happy on the sidelines. Wasn't happy talking to media. All these accusations of being checked out in meetings, being late, not going to treatment, not doing treatment right. Now people are claiming the Ravens were thinking he'd be playing, but he doesn't want to until he really feels good.

I haven't the slightest clue what is or is not true, but this was a different Lamar Jackson emotionally in year 5 compared to years past.

it's truly the media blowing everything out of proportion, from the negotiations to the treatment and everything in between.

I wish they would just shut the fuck up.
