I'm not even sure Lamar works hereNaw this offense is “ built specifically for lamar” so no other qb will work here

and this is why I think we will extend him this year.I've not given up on that. I still think its the most likely outcome he signs an extension.
I just have low expectations of it happening early this coming offseason. I think he spends most of the offseason under the tag, and possibly plays the season under it.
And I think fans need to prepare themselves for what that means for personnel and roster decisions for the offseason.
You think Roquan will get the long term extension if Lamar gets the tag?I've not given up on that. I still think its the most likely outcome he signs an extension.

I think Roquan is getting extended either way. Almost certainly before Lamar and I'd bet its before the tag deadline. You think Roquan will get the long term extension if Lamar gets the tag?

And what's best for his team. Don't be surprised if there are a few players on the team raising their eyebrows a little on the current Lamar injury scenario.
$23 millionSurprisingly, I kinda side with Lamar on this one. What does he really stand to gain by going back out this year? We’re good for an upset win in the playoffs but that’s about it.

If I had to choose between one of these scenarios, I will GLADLY and WITHOUT HESITATION choose the "win it all" scenario. I'll mentally prepare myself to dealing with the torture of our limitations on offense with Roman as our playcaller. He sits out: we continue to suck and that’ll only raises the fact that we need him. So price goes up.
He plays: we get early playoff exit and if Lamar does bad, most / all blame goes on him, hurting him during negotiations.
Or he plays, wins it all.. gets the contract he wants. Greg Roman now stays for eternity.
Yeah.. best scenario is for Lamar to sit out sadly.
Lol . For a year ! Lol.If I had to choose between one of these scenarios, I will GLADLY and WITHOUT HESITATION choose the "win it all" scenario. I'll mentally prepare myself to dealing with the torture of our limitations on offense with Roman as our playcaller.
Honestly McDaniels plays a huge role in it. That guy sucks as a HCCarr couldn’t win with Adams, he’ll love it here
Yea but if he’s “injured” he won’t lose any of that money.$23 million
Vibes ? Does it look like Lamar is his usual self this year ?a lot of doom and gloom in this thread purely based off "vibes"
every time we see Harbs and Lamar on the wired segments it seems to completely undo all the random shit people on twitter (and now here too) are saying about how Lamar feels about the ravens and the coaches and how the ravens feel about lamar etc.
people are catastrophising and i get it, there's no public info really on the contract negotiations and there's been no progress since the season began (which is not unexpected given that's what lamar said was going to happen)
but there's a lot of conflation of feelings of complete demoralisation about the direction of the season without lamar (and even some of our struggles with him), the animosity everywhere about Roman - which again, while I think he should be and probably will be replaced this offseason, there's so many people thinking it's some sort of catch-all situation to just fire him which i do not understand at all..., the injury to Lamar (and how last season ended), and the lack of information about long-term negotiations and a deal...
that soup of things is making a ton of people assume the worst despite plenty of evidence to the contrary regarding lamar's long-term future

He is one of those guys that being HC is just too many responsibilities for him while also trying to call plays. Its why i kinda like the tomlin and harbaughs of the world more now. They have more time to focus on the team and players.Honestly McDaniels plays a huge role in it. That guy sucks as a HC
Lol, yeah for a team that’s headed to the playoffs there sure is some negative shit floating on top around here. But hey I get it.lol. Yall are bumming me tf out.
