Lamar Jackson

I don’t even know what to say anymore. I loved Lamar, but with my doubts about this being a holdout over his contact, I honestly won’t be upset anymore if we trade him. My stepson just got me a Lamar jersey in black. Unfortunately I am not picking that one to wear on Sunday. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed. I know we are not winning the Super Bowl this year but if we can just beat the Bengals with AB, I would be happy with that.

Are you serious? He has made it abundantly clear as have several others that the swelling in his knee hasn't subsided. How do you expect him to play in this condition and how would that help him or us?

Well without Lamar, Bengals have an easy W just like Buffalo does with Tua out. We aren't winning without Lamar, Huntley and AB aren't good enough to do so especially in a playoff game.
Never say never. We still have a very strong D that can score all on its own. How cool would it be for us to win this game and then Lamar comes back against Buffalo and takes us all the way to Nirvana??

Sorry, I can’t believe those reports, when I saw him jumping around on the sideline. If his knee was that bad, he wouldn’t have been standing on it the entire game. Never saw him take a seat on the bench once. If he had the heart of a lion, he would at least attempt a limited practice trying out a brace. With this whole contract thing, I have serious doubts about why he is not on the field yet. That hit he took looked pretty minor to be out all a month and a half. Hamilton’s injury earlier in the season looked season ending to me, and he was only out for a short time. I have serious suspicions of goldbricking.

WTF is right. I assume he would have an idea but the fucker doesn't want to talk about it frustrating us even more about Lamar's situation.
Maybe Harbs should let the medical people talk at his next presser and tell us exactly what is wrong with Lamar. I mean reports keep saying stupid shit like “he’s got an uphill battle to play on Sunday” and “ he’s tried to do some work on his knee and he just doesn’t feel right”, and now, “he can play if he’s safe and healthy”.

I mean we all know that his recovery time is not normal for a grade 2 PCL sprain, but on the other hand, people respond differently, so there’s that.

I tend to think that Huntley might give us the better chance at winning, increasing the odds from say 5% to maybe 20%, but nonetheless, another one and done.:not me:
Its all about turnovers. If Huntley still has a shoulder problem ,you gotta play Brown. Just dont ask him to do too much . The pass play in the end zone was Roman ass stench. Run the ball there.

On the other side of the coin, if the Ravens are pissed that Lamar is possibly goldbricking, then they certainly don't want him to get reinjured and severely limit his trade value. Harbaugh does not look happy at all.

I’m just so angry, idk man, how do we run it back with Lamar he literally can’t stay healthy. He misses this playoff game when Harbaugh said allegedly he could play the Falcons with a brace. How the fuck did we get reports two days ago strong chance he plays and now all this bullshit
They say in life to celebrate every small win or whatever because tomorrow's never guaranteed and you can't take shit for granted.

When we clinched the playoff spot on Christmas Eve, I ain't gonna lie, I celebrated like we made it to the AFC Championship. Deep down, I figured that was gonna be the last time we win a game this season. Of course I wanted to beat the Steelers and give Tomlin his first losing record, but again deep down, I didn't give AF about that game just like I didn't care about this past game.

Honestly, I feel apathetic about this game. I still want us to extend Lamar and roll with it until the rails come off (word to @rossihunter2 and sorry if I didn't word it like you did before), but I'm more and more concerned about his long-term availability.

*sighs*

To piggyback off @Simba 's point about this year's AFC, what's gonna annoy me more than anything next season is that it all comes together.................

......only for at least one of the Bengals, Bills and/or the Chiefs to also have a great start to the season and we're unable to clinch the first round bye or even the division (like 2020).
