true, but so did the 70s and 80s.Its arguable lol. 90's SNL had some heavy hitters. I mean, shit, 1990 cast was Chris Farley, Tim Meadows, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Julia Sweeney, Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Mike Myers, and Kevin Nealon.
Yup, I was there lol. I'm standing my ground though. Maybe because I was finally an adult in the 90's and found the skits funnier and more relevant to me. Who knows. We can all agree that SNL has sucked for a VERY long time now, give or take a few skits here and there.true, but so did the 70s and 80s.
Just to name a few...
- Dan Aykroyd.
- John Belushi.
- Chevy Chase
- Garret Morris
- Jane Curtin
- Bill Murray.
- Laraine Newman.
- Gilda Radner.
- Eddie Murphy
- Mr. Bill

Basically your last sentence and that it's always been hit or miss, but no one remembers the old misses because it was before social media. Drew makes really good and funny videos if you're ever bored.I'm not watching a 40 minute youtube video lol, sorry man. Whats the take? I will die on the hill that the 90's, in full, was the best decade for SNL. But, again, with all things, its subjective. It really matters how old you were I think and graduated high school in 92.
Gotcha. Yeah, it’s all relative to who and when you were at certain ages I think. But to me, the age of chris Farley, Wayne’s world, will Ferrell, etc just cannot be topped. The older stuff is classic but those skits in the 90s were absolutely hilarious and cultural fabric. I’m still pissed that Farley OD’dBasically your last sentence and that it's always been hit or miss, but no one remembers the old misses because it was before social media. I mean, I would die laughing every week because Norm just had no chill on OJ, whether it was funny or not. NO CHILL
yep. I never said it wasn't good on the 90s. In fact it was very good in the 90s, but my favorite time was the 70s and 80s.

He was certainly up there amongst my all-time favorites. Did you watch that "stand-up" he did from his house before he died? So bitter-sweet. RIP, Turd Ferguson.Norm is the funniest human to ever live
While we're on the SNL discussions this is one of the best:
