Lamar Jackson

Could X team Tag & Trade X Player.... you can pretty much say that about any team and player. Such a generic headline, obviously if a offer that blew us away came along then we would have to consider it. The problem is... who replaces Lamar? Like we need a firm plan in place if we trade Lamar and who will be the starter.

I don't want to see us trade Lamar as I think we sign him long term anyway but man, who replaces him would be the big question.
Nobody like Lamar is ever going to replace him now or ever. He is one of one.

Asked this earlier... does it really matter if he calls plays or not? Look at the list of candidates we have. Most don't currently call plays, and I'm not sure some of them have ever called plays.

Like we all want interviews for Brian Johnson... hasn't ever called plays in the NFL before. Only in college.

Like far and away the most qualified person we've interviewed is Todd Monken. He's been an OC in the NFL before (with two different teams) and is currently calling plays for the best College Team on the planet.

Yet he's probably not nearly as popular of a hire and at the top of anybody's short list.

Short of hiring him or EB, the next guy we hire is probably going to be "raw" in terms of play-calling, which means we have no idea what we're going to get. Could be great, could be terrible.
Anyone but EB

It doesn’t to me, I’d take him in a heartbeat

Ill say it right now, Mahomes is a better QB than Tom Brady. He may not win as many SB's but he's better.
Stop it , get some help

I only watched first three plays. Wasn’t impressed . I guess I should watch it all.

That's how you came to your conclusion? 3 Plays?
