Of course he would, but just like last year when he chose to shut down negotiations until after the season it will be a risk vs. reward gamble for him. Also there’s other potential big deals coming after this season that will play into his deal. But the longer he waits to get his deal the more risks involved and the more money he’s losing.

Sure it’s business but this is the first time We’ve heard those word. Tbh I think he’s putting this out there to gin up some interest. If teams think they are wasting time because the ravens will just match any offer they put out there then why bother. And there’s always the chance he means what he says. Lol

Apparently the source is Florio….. i don’t listen to him or read any of his stuff , but it seems most people on here seem to think he is full of shit. So maybe it’s more BS

I wouldn't say he's full of shit, but he's made his career on putting out info directly from agents and rarely if ever goes against that. Very well could be true or very well could be another agent in his ear telling him this information to once again shame guys for not having agents.

Basically, any time he says "per sources" those sources are agents.
 
I could see this being the most reasonable explanation for the recent Lamar rumors. Yeah it's business but come on man, quit playing games and make a decision.

That's because he couldn't make a career as a lawyer. A lot easier to make it as a "journalist" if you are a hack.

Oh yeah he found a way to make a career and money off of it. There's a good reason you will never hear him use the term "team sources" and that's because they won't talk to him. Exclusively agents and exclusively agents that want to drive a narrative that benefits them and their clients.
