If Lamar truly has taken this next step, it’s honestly just over for everyone else lol.

He doesn’t need the deep ball outside explosives to hit if he’s consistently punishing the blitz, but that is the only area of his game that he can continue to make some significant gains.

If Lamar’s now taken that step that mahomes took a couple of years ago with the blitz and taking what the defence gives him then i don’t know that you can stop him.

Lamar has inherited his dad's brains, and I'm so proud of him. On a serious note, this dude seemed blown away by Lamar's calling his own plays at the line of scrimmage. To compare him to Brady and Manning, kind of informs you of how impressed he was at the way Lamar manipulated coverages to his advantage.

How could a 1 read and run qb diagnose these complicated nfl defenses?

I'll repeat. He has flaws but when I'm met with these lazy takes I just let people have the argument most times. And Lamar being able to read defenses is something he's been pretty good at since early in his career. Love the control he has in this offense.

Lamar feels in such command of this offense that it’s going to be a real gut punch if Monken starts getting HC interviews and departs. He’s been through so many OCs and we’ve finally found one that can keep both parts of the offense humming (ignoring KC last year…). Lamar is obviously the star here, but Todd is in his bag right now too.
