The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Jags edition

The Bad: Why didn't we run a play? I mean, we had 2 timeouts and got a decent return. All we had to do was call a slant, TIMEOUT.
Then, attempt a deep pass to get Tucker a chipshot. TIMEOUT. We nail a field goal and win the game.
The Good: We still lead the Bengals for the division race. As long as the cardinals win, we should be good for playoff chances.
The Ugly: They were super risky. They should not have gone for two. But they did, but at least we actually got to kick a field goal*.
*That Field goal would of made NFL History, so it was a little too hard.

What a bullshit game. The offense had no energy at all in the 1st half. Dropped balls, over throws, under throws, turnovers, and stupid play calls. The defense played decent for most of the game, except Peters. WTF is up with him? Then in the forth qtr. the offense wakes up and the D takes a shit. Wow!

What an embarrassment.

The offense and defense let us down. I don't like Roman anymore than anyone else, but Bmore is short on playmaker on offense. On defense, Peters was a playmaker...for the other team.

Hopefully they'll realize they need to regroup. Unfortunately, the bye week has already passed.

I'm not too pissed off by that second half. The game was lost in the first through repeated offensive failures when the defense were shutting the Jags down.

At the end Lawrence got hot. He was picking on Peters, who had an awful game, but basically he was getting the ball out quickly and accurately and their players weren't dropping passes all over the place.

If we'd put the game out of sight by then, it wouldn't have mattered how hot Lawrence got, but we let them hang around until he found the best spell of his career.

who knew that kyle hamilton being out would open up so many problems - but he's really become a key part of this defence

need Kyle back asap, need Marcus Williams back asap, need to find some form of new knee for MP

disappointing that a defence with this much talent can be victimised this easily in key passing situations because of an older CB2
I literally thought Hamilton wasn't even very good at football yet. But clearly he's more impactful than that.

However, the d has been sus all year imho.
