The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Jags edition

Greg Roman is not free of guilt. I think he sometimes makes some really goofy situational calls. I also think he too harshly scripts the beginning of games. I also think he often times fixate on pass or run and can struggle to have a fluid and balanced game. I hate the heavy use of 22 personnel. However, this guy called plays today that if his guys make the ROUTINE plays that a professional football player does, Lamar legitimately throws 5 TD passes and probably sits the 4th quarter. Then we're talking about maybe this offense can still be elite.

Greg Roman is not dropping the passes. Greg Roman is not false starting constantly. Greg Roman isn't the illegal man down field. He may be the source of delay of game penalties though. Greg Roman didn't tell EDC you know you can tell those WRs in FA and the draft they can go fuck themselves. Greg Roman didn't say you know what, today I'm gonna give Rashod Bateman a nice knee capping. The dude has peanuts to work with and Lamar could've had 5 TDs today. He can be imperfect, in fact he is imperfect, but he is not the sole problem. He may not even be a problem at all.

All I can tell you is every single player not named Marlon Humphrey, Broderick Washington, Lamar Jackson, and Justin Tucker were completely and total ass juice today. That's the problem. This team is playing really shitty. They're playing below their talent and capabilities.

Oh god, Jamison Hensley wrote a short article about Lamar’s tweet on ESPN and noted how Lamar included an “anti-gay” remark. Here we go

Something to ponder...what if this is the Lamar's peak at the passing game? Do you guys think he should get that fat contract he wants?

This is part of the reason I want to see him with another OC to see if this is just his peak or its part playcalling. Wrs are not helping I know.

About the delay of game, harbs mentioned a few weeks ago about the plays taking too long to call I imagine he should be livid about it happening almost twice in a row this game. Someone mentioned Lamar not having enough time to scan the D when he breaks out the huddle and that makes a ton of sense.

We have to see what Lamar can do with a different coordinator before he walks. If Greg Roman outlast Lamar for the Ravens.. I want to see Harbs gone as well. He shouldn’t be here for the rebuild. Lamar practically saved this man’s job.
This was one of my biggest gripes about keeping this fucking bum at OC in Lamar's contract year.

I agree with that last statement. It’s infuriating. Don’t even have time to scan the defense when you’re clapping your ass off for the ball cause you look up and see 3 seconds.

This very well maybe lamars peak when it comes to passing, however i think he can always get better at reading defenses and not locking on to players pre snap

They don't want Lamar to get his money. So, they call plays in late and call routes that send the FB out instead of WRs. lol.

Hilarious how you guys defend Lamar no matter what. I have a little experiment for you guys today. Try saying exactly what he said on twitter to a customer or a business partner and see how it goes for ya. Report your results back here after you’re fired.

Try this in your line of work today. Tell a customer to eat dicks and all the other nonsensical ramblings Lamar said to the fan. Tell me how it goes.
I mean I agree, but the "fan" isn't a business partner or customer. He's just a guy beyond a keyboard.

I've also cussed out co-workers and been cussed out before by management. Nobody ever got fired.

I noticed they were making it a point to show Roman in the press box calling plays and also showing the play clock. Plays were generally done being relayed to Lamar at 26 to 32 seconds left on the play clock. Never paid attention before so I don't know if this is average, early or late.

Lamar didn't do it in his line of work or told it to business partner or customer.

He did it in his private time and couldn't have said it better. There are lot of dickheads on social media who deserve much more than this one got.

Fans are the customers of the sport. Without fans there is no NFL

Yes, fans. Plural. As in collectively. Did he tell millions of fans to eat a dick, or just one or a couple?
Also are we sure this person was an actual customer and not just somebody looking to troll on Twitter? I mean there's no shortage of "fans" who don't watch games and contribute $0 monetarily to the product.
