obviously would require the organisation to consider itself out of contention despite leading the division (or potentially being 2nd place after this week)...

even with huntley we saw last year that they still considered themselves contenders - the difference is that this year the offensive weapons outside of the QB are so much worse by comparison to 2021 where the weapons were up there with the best we've ever had

The last 3 weeks have been an offensive nightmare! A damn nightmare! It started with that Panthers game and has continued for another 2 weeks afterward.
 
Yeah i’m ready for Roman to pack his bags tbh. Nothing against the guy, I wish him well and he accomplished great things here but I think its time to move on.
 
Not only is this a huge 3rd down and I could see it being 2 down territory, but the defense may in fact have to win us this game.......in the 4th qtr
 
We saw these safe throws behind the sticks when we needed first downs last year to with Huntley. It probably drove Hollywood out of town.

And that's true with Lamar, Andrews, Gus and others on the field. The argument over coaching or personnel is almost silly when you look at this team not being able to do anything. You have to err on getting some new schemes over wholesale player replacement. The fact that it's different players out of position also puts it on coaching for me. I think it's akin to Cam Cameron leaving and Joe suddenly finding receivers right down the center seam once Caldwell took over. I give that change as much credit as I do any individual player for our Super Bowl in 2012.

What they "have been doing" is not working! At all! They got to change how they have been doing business. We need at least 1-2 WRs (not just a so-called, #1) that are studs to take pressure off of Lamar.
