The Ugly, The Ugly and The Win I Guess???

sure, but Lamar would be terrific in a spread and he has proven it in the past.
I agree but he's a bigger threat (to defend) in the running game so I believe that may be why he's in the 12, 21, and 22 personnel sets more.

Btw, I wonder if Gus is reaaly back, he did not look like himself. Lacked the power we are used to.

And speaking of RBs - Hill is a mystery. Flashes of brilliance at times, but give him the ball in Q4 and he is guaranteed to fumble
Imo he hasn’t looked like the old Gus at all

Lamar is not mid. Did you see how much time Burrow had and his WRs yesterday?
Nah he really is a below average thrower of the football with amazing athletic abilities. Combine the two and you get mid.

Took the thought right out of my head here. Both the guy yelling GRo and Lamar need to be smarter. Also thinking there may have been some alcohol involved with the fan's outburst.
What are we talking about? I have seen nothing of this

What's frustrating is there have been times where it seemed his passing mechanics and abilities were on the upswing.
I think it’s a testament to just how athletically gifted he his. Even with all the flaws in his mechanics he was able to deliver some great throws. Seems like it’s catching up to him now, certainly doesn’t help that he has a lack of help at WR now.

The roster on offense has gotten progressively worse as the years have passed.

I’m not sure what the expectations are. Early in the year he looked great with a healthy offense

Right but Burrow's Oline is nowhere near as good as the Ravens is. Burrow would gladly trade his entire Oline for ours. Pretty much position-by-position actually.

With Lamars mobilty, I think I would trade O-Lines if it meant trading for all of their weapons

TBF the roster was not great in 2019 as well, but they produced.. I believe the skill position starters rotated in some form of Andrews, Boyle, Snead, Boykin, Hollywood, and Ingram. None of those guys were world beaters, even Andrews was justing starting to turn into the monster we know and love now. I don't expect them to repeat 2019, but I expect a competent offense, especially when the leader of that unit is likely asking to be the highest paid player in the NFL.

I completely acknowledge the lack of skill players plays a big part in the offensive/Lamar woes but there are times though when you can tell Lamar is just off. IDK if its injury related, personnel related, regression, disdain for this offense, or the pressure to play perfect with impending contract negotiations. Likely a little bit of everything, but were kidding ourselves if we think Lamar has played at the level appropriate for a QB asking top dollar.

Sure. My point was that its not like Cincy universally has a better offense. I like our Oline more. I like their skill position players more.

And based on what I've seen the last two years, I'd rather have Burrow than Lamar. But that's just personal preference.

Just to help me get it straigh: a guy on the Internet saying Lamar does not deserve a big contract is a troll that needs to be put down. A guy yelling profanities at Roman is a folk hero?
Just trying to learn the rules here
Fuck that cuck bitch that went at Lamar, gay as fuck

For this offseason:
1. I'm still not caving to the Watson-level contract demands (if that's what Lamar is asking for). If he won't move off it, franchise tag it is.
2. I think Roman is going to have to be gone one way or another. Hopefully he takes the Stanford job so that everybody "saves face", but pending some offensive surge here in the last month, we can't run it back with him. It just seems like the best we've seen from him on this team is in the past, not in the future.
3. They need to add a couple playmakers on offense. Don't really care if that's a playmaking RB with another WR, or two WRs. But it's becoming pretty clear to everybody that our personnel at WR and, this year, at RB, isn't good enough. I'll be the first to say RBs are a dime a dozen, but Edwards has no burst left it seems, Drake is just a total JAG in this league, and we can't expect anything remotely resembling "return to form" from Dobbins.
