Next Up: @ Bengals

Eh. Oh well. Choking the games away against the Dolphins, Bills, Giants, Jaguars, and Steelers fucked us over for the division title. Tbh, I never thought we'd win the division. The current standings is basically what I expected.
Well without Lamar, I'd figured we were going to lose to the Bengals Sunday anyway so I wasn't expecting us to win the division. I just wish we had a fair shot at it since we beat them earlier in the year. Though it would be quite hilarious for them to have to come to Baltimore to play us in the Wild Card lol.

knew they would cancel this shit.. legit wasnt any scenarios where replaying the game would even fit into nfl schedule

So who got screwed the most with the cancelled game? Looks like we did. If Bills had beaten the Bengals, we would be playing for the title and a home game . Now we still have to beat Cincy (twice) and a coin flip decides the home game.

Well, it depends on what happens. KC basically can't play the AFC Title game in their building unless its against somebody not named Buffalo or Cincy. And there were certainly paths to that happening outright if the Bills/Bengals game was played, so they got hosed on that one.

well they will be playing us, so that doesn't matter :D

Cincinnati probably got screwed most. We at least get the coin toss if we beat them, they don't get a coin toss if they have to play Buffalo, so it's as if the NFL awarded the Bills the win.

outside of cancelling the pro bowl and moving the season back a week. That would cause issues for every team though and fans that traveled to go to the game.

I had a feeling they wouldn't do that and would just cancel the season as well.

Sure, we got a bit screwed over from the decision to cancel the game, but we've already been screwing ourselves over all season long. I would rest anyone important and put a vanilla game plan out this week (not like that's difficult for Roman) just in case we have to face them again in the Wildcard

its most likely going to be different anyway, 'IF' Lamar is back during the playoffs.

This situation sucks for everyone but at the end of the day who actually cares. Things are bigger than football and also this Ravens team ain't winning the superbowl. So everyone, no need to worry.

Your focus should be on FIRING GREGORY ROMAN and ACQUIRING SOME FUCKING WRS

Can't wait for the notification to show up on my phone that Roman is leaving or getting fired. Will be the best Ravens news we've had all season

Don’t understand the thought that we got screwed here. Can’t be for certain of course, but it looked like the Bengals were going to roll over Buffalo Monday and we would have been playing for nothing. At least we still have a shot because we could have been out of the running for a home game entirely.

much too early to tell. Sure they were up 7-3 and had the ball at the 50 yard line when Damar tackled Higgins, but you can't really say they were going to roll over him when the score was that close.

I'm a little upset that this week isn't for the AFCN crown, but I also realize we gave away a lot of games and shouldn't even be in the running.

I hear ya. Literally every team in this AFC is VERY beatable. It's so sad we fucked up this year because imo we've never seen an easier path the SB. I fear none of these teams.

I just have suck little faith in my team to beat any of those others because we're that bad.

Impossible to say but as you alluded to at the end, this is probably a straight up game for the 3 seed if we don’t lose against the Steelers or one of the earlier games obviously. We had our opportunity to win and in that seed, and didn’t capitalize. The fact that we still have a shot is great to me. Don’t think we got screwed at all. Think we’re fortunate.

yep, completely agree.

I think we match up the worst against Kansas City. Any other team I think we can beat with Lamar.
