2023 Baltimore Orioles

Another nationally televised game. Hopefully Kremer pitches well and we score some runs. Let's go!
 
Great game. Kremer looked a little shaky there in the 2nd and 3rd, but rallied and got it done. A better showing in those two innings and he would have lasted 6+ which is good news. Just totally lost his mark out there for a bit. I just love beating the Skanks. I was totally waiting for someone to get plunked, tho. I won't lie. I'll never forgive them for plunking Kakes back in 2012. When McCann got the inside fastball that hit his had, I said, "There you go. Here we go again." Luckily nada, but I just hate that team and always look for nefarious shit with them.

Interesting factoid... the Orioles were the only team with a winning record against the Yankees until the early 90's, I think it was. Definitely thru the 80's. It held to within a year or two of the "Why Not?" season.
 
Sitting in the airport now, get to Toronto by 11:30. Going to the game tonight and Wednesday night. Looking forward to the games but also first time flying international. Going to try to do the CN Tower Edge Walk while I'm there, from videos I've seen it's quite a ways up lol.

Let's get at least 3/4 in this series, at most a 2-2 split. Wish the Rays would lose so we can pull away in the division standings.

Go to Niagara Falls. It's really cool to see from the Canadian side.

There's a glass floor up in the tower too, creepy to stand on it and look down.

The falls are cool from both sides. Lotsa awe inspiring stuff to see.

Oh, I didn't mean to diminish the Falls from our side. If you can get to our side, you can do the cliff mist walk. I don't remember its real name, but you go down a walking path and deck path built into the side of the Falls and actually get under one part of it. It's totally cool. Definitely do the boat, Lady of the Mist. They take you up there close. But the Falls are like an hour drive from Toronto. Definitely had nudy bars galore up there and I'm pretty sure they have casinos. The old guy in me is telling me to mention there might be some interesting forts and stuff like that around, as Toronto was a key in the French and Indian War. But I never visited those places because it was a balls out race to the game, strip clubs, and back to Buffalo for my buddy's finals and my drive home. lol

Behind the American Fall, If I recall there's an elevator down, then a path to the "Hurricane Deck". Windy and wet!

Toronto is a great city to visit. Really good subway, easy to get around. The ROM and Toronto Zoo are definitely worth seeing.
 
Considering that the MLB uses the old NFL Playoff format now, where top two teams get a bye. Would be great to have that first round bye, let alone the first seed and home field throughout the playoffs.

Just need to get some relief help at the deadline, hated we needed to bring out Bautista in the 8th to get us out of the jam.
 
Prieto, Rom, and Zack Showalter for Flaherty. Not a bad trade, but it doesn't feel super impactful given our needs. I guess they're gonna try to rely on Wells, Means, and Hall for future bullpen help.
