2023 Baltimore Orioles

I thought for sure when they dropped that tying 3rd run that it was over. Mullins is the spark we need back in the game. I hope he's healed and ready to go now. The MASH crew they had to replace him did admirably, but Ced needs to be out there daily. Exciting win and more proof there's no quit in them.

Btw, Fuji recovered nicely. Just throw the fastball, man.

9:40PM ET start.... ugh. I sure do love the benefit of having three extra hours when I visit the west coast but living on the east coast waiting for west cost games to start is pain lol. I see the Rays are playing against the Giants tonight so at least both of us are on the west coast. Oh and we get to see Manny again, still hate that we traded him and paid Chris Davis instead.

I had to pick my daughter up from work, so I got to see some of the game... 6th inning, so I saw the bulk of it. Manny just looked flat. He was so exciting here and has been damn good when he left, but that whole team just looks unmotivated. Maybe Manny's second at bat, he took a first pitch strike that was nasty on the inside corner. It stayed on the box edge and arched right in there. He just looked down his chest and was shaking his head like it was a ball. I was waiting for him to get tossed.

First series loss in a looong time. Padres played well, no shame in losing there, hopefully it's friendlier a little farther north.

SD's a good team. Bad breaks this year. They recovered after looking flat in the first of the 3. Gotta get back on the rails for this series.

Gunnar killed that ball! Watching the A's fan throw it back when his O's fan buddy was asking for it was gold. Hilarious.

Let's keep this going. TB was down to the Angels but came back and ny day the Skanks lose, even to Boston, is a good day. But I'd love for those two to just keep splitting while we keep winning.

Really concerned about starting pitching, not sure we have the guns to get through the post season.

We may not have the guns, but we'll have the MEANS.... to get through the post season. I think he could be what saves our pitching come end of season and the post season. I'm sticking with an Orioles-Braves World Series prediction and I think the return of Means coupled with the way our hitting is, Bautista being the excellent closer he is, O's could win it all.

How did Jake Webb get thru waivers?! His era was terrible, but he's been money! And with 2-3 more years of control?! Dealing 3 SO's in the bottom of the 10th! Great rally! Great closing!

Home Series against Toronto starting Tuesday, followed by a weekend series against the Rockies. Maintained a 3 game lead over TB, that series in September against Tampa is likely what decides who wins the AL East.

John Angelos uses being a small market team as an excuse to be cheap. Hey guess what, Padres have the third highest payroll yet have the same market size as us. To be sitting in first, best in AL and he says we may not be able to keep our young core together unless they raise ticket prices. Man... shut the fuck up and sell the team.

If we put together all of our money... we might be able to afford the $1.713B that the Orioles were valued at by Forbes and buy the team ourselves.
