The Defence, The Offence and The Clutching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory

It’s been mentioned a few times, but also have to highlight the inexplicable play calling at the end of the 1st half. What the fuck even was that? Getting 7 there swings momentum heavily
Wasted timeouts early on killed our playbook. We couldn’t run it and let the clock run, and we can’t turn it over or take a sack because then we lose 3.

Mike McDonald certainly had his issues this year. I’ll give him another year before saying fire the man but of course the team knows better than we do. I will say don’t read too much into Wink’s defense in NY because if I recall correctly he looked amazing his first year or two here but slowly degraded

Roman’s failures are John’s failures because John is the only person on earth who wants Roman in Baltimore
John just isn’t an emotional leader. He has plenty of faults don’t get me wrong and I think you can say he sometimes holds past performance higher than he should but I wouldn’t say he’s entirely wrong for keeping Roman last year. This next offseason though I have to say I am firmly more in the fire Roman camp than in the past. If it was just this game that’s one thing but it’s layered issues now

I wrote an article about winning and losing the game

I couldn't be on the discussion last night because a friend showed up unexpectedly yesterday afternoon so we watched the game together.

I thought we played great and were about to have the fucking cat in the bag when playcalling struck.

Why does Roman not use the RB's in close to the goal situations. He uses the QB, the FB, pass plays and even running the TE, but not the RB's consistently? It feels like that's exactly what he should be doing. The RB's were excellent yesterday. 155 yards rushing. Yet even the TD inside the 5 was to Dobbins on a pass where he stretched in. I just don't understand not utilizing the guys who are adept at handling the ball and a FB, who blocked his ass clean off yesterday, do what they do best at the goal line. I just don't get it.

The only other thing I don't get is having 2 minutes lest with the ball and running, what, 4 plays to close out the game. And having two TO's in their pocket. Just don't get that.

This game could have gone very differently, but the ball does bounce, as the saying goes.

Quote from Sean Payton : don't like it," Payton said Saturday. "(The Ravens are) in a playoff game. And I get if he's not playing, but this whole tweet out, Llet me explain my whole medical status,' and I'm hearing grumblings from a handful of folks there that there are teammates that feel like his process has been slower than expected. And I just don't like it."

Trade Lamar please . It’s just not worth the drama .

Not showing up to the game , to at least sit on the sideline and give Tyler some advice or what he’s seeing out there is unforgivable .

I don’t wanna hear the apologists who say he might not be medically cleared to go . Bullshit

If I’m the leader of this team , I’m going to help them win , even if it’s with my voice .Maybe Lamer tells Tyler to go low on that QB sneak disaster . You never fucking know .
This will truly be my last reply to you because you've clearly got an agenda.

1. Who do I believe- the player with the team literally every single day who sees Lamar every single day or the retired coach who abandoned his team when things were about to get rough and who isn't in the locker room? Let me go with the latter and his unnamed sources.

2. It's team policy he wouldn't travel. Again, guys like Pierce, Fuller, Bateman, etc. weren't there. Dobbins said he went to ZERO games. Flying doesn't help swelling at all and if the team said stay home, he has to stay home.

3. You really think the team didn't tell Huntley to stay low? You're really reaching so far that Lamar is the difference in Huntley not being an idiot?

People with an agenda are wild.

I have no agenda . Lamar is my favorite Raven . We will never really know if Lamar could have seen something on the field to help Tyler out.

Nobody want to call Lamar out with their name on it. Only Watkins did. They might have to play with him next year.

I thought similar things-he could have helped the QB'S, especially if Brown had to go in. And could he have not driven to Cincy? Or is back in Fl? If so, I would assume he flew there.

Jk the only one with balls to call it how it is. If Roman is not fired I truly believe we lose the locker room. The players are straight up frustrated about the playcalling. If Harbaugh doesn't fire him that means he straight up doesn't care about his players.

We have what 1 playoff win in 11 yrs if I'm not mistaken. I think we should move on from Harbs. We need a change from top down.

He’s an NFL rookie so he gets a pass for this year. We finished in the bottom 3rd in overall team defense. Talent has a lot to do with that but they need to fix that.
