Not sure I knew he had a 1st interview, but another candidate to add to the list
OK, so basically we're not close to hiring an OC.
The "fix" at receiver would be to utilize Likely more with Andrews.
No, We need to draft a receiver. Likely is useful, but we need another receiver.
Well two of them haven't happened yet. They're scheduled for next week. And then I imagine there will be at least 1-2 interviews the following week with guys coaching next weekend.Nope. This makes 4 coaches we have brought back for second interviews if I am not mistaken.
yep, just more information gathering to get to after the super bowl when EB and maybe BJ can interviewOK, so basically we're not close to hiring an OC.
Not sure I'd say it that matter of factly, but there's no sense in rushing it at this point. Only a little over a week until you can talk to those guys. In the meantime, get to know the other candidates more and be prepared for whichever direction you need to go. So far, I don't believe any of these guys that are coming in for second interviews are being pursued heavily elsewhere. This amount of second interviews tells me we want EB or BJ
he was at the end of his dealWe got smith for a second and a fifth
No dhopWe only think so high of Likely cause our WR group was so trash.
This is a new era of Ravens football! Bring in Dhop! Draft JSN! And use Likely like one of those other white TEs the Chiefs uses when defense too focus on everyone else. Nobody knows their names, but when they make a big catch.. everyone’s like “who tf is that guy?”
not sure how you even come to this conclusion. Its not like we were looking to get rid of Flacco when we interviewed 30 guys prior to signing Kubiak. They are doing their due diligence, which is what they should be doing. This probably isn’t the case but I wonder if they’re bringing back these guys because they’ve came to the conclusion that they’re not signing Lamar and are getting their plans on an offense without him.
This has been my thought for a while. Keeping LJ with the tag handcuffs them too much when they have needs to fill and not a lot of draft capital. For me it would just be another season like last still carrying the uncertainty at QB and little or no chance in the tournament. I think it's a matter of shit or get off the pot.Been discussing cap situation with some local Baltimore beat writers and others. There's a consensus among a lot of people that Ravens basically can't keep Lamar under the tag past the near-draft deadline. Either they extend him or trade him. I'm not really buying into that yet, but there's a consensus of people that think its not feasible. Will see.
I think they're keeping Lamar this year. And if it means the roster is weaker, if it means the "overhaul" of the WR results in just some middling guys who aren't that good, etc., I think they do it.This has been my thought for a while. Honestly not sure how I came to this conclusion lol I’m positive they’re just doing their homework on these guys. I think I’m just beginning to think Lamar nor EDC is going to budge off their number and a divorce in coming.
Why let Roman go if the divorce was incoming?
Cos he sucksWhy let Roman go if the divorce was incoming?
Roman is/was considered a run guru. Remember the Browns game part 2? Bengals playoff game? Then there's Dez comments, Hollywood's request, etc., etc. Point being is that Roman needed to go regardless. It was about that time. Why let Roman go if the divorce was incoming?
