The 2023 Offseason Thread

imagine blaming your injuries on someone lol..theyre just looking for someone to blame.
I think most of those guys complaining were scrubs, or washed up except for Judon. He was a problem and unhappy when he was here, not surprised he would bitch.

Yeah, missing on a lot of people is that there is a bunch of talent on this team. If they can get out of this shit storm and operate normally they will be fine, with or without Lamar.
get a good game manager, upgrade the roster, trade lamar, and win a SB. the trick.

I dnt think what edc said was wrong.. i mean we did need better wrs.. duv and proche arent it.. bate also sounds like crybabay too. I like edc more now.. seems like he gonna say it how it is
It seems Bateman's issues are with coaching and Greg Roman. So not sure why he's going off on EDC... he has nothing to do with coaching and how he's used. Though if things aren't going well this season... Harbs could lose the locker room and it would be 2007 all over again.

Good riddance.

It also would explain why the Ravens had such bad luck with injuries. When the vast majority of NFL teams have their strength people well loved by the players and your guy isn’t, maybe that should key you in on something?
who do you think our new guy will be?

Who was the last game manager to win a SB?

You said bring in Jimmy. He had much more talent on offense last year. When he did make a bowl he choked a 10 point lead in the big game and hasn't been back since. There is no point in pursuing a game manager with this current roster.

Peyton Manning, maybe? at that point in his career, he wasn't much more than that

I didn't say bring in Jimmy. I think he's overrated and expensive

So Greg Roman every WR, and later RB hated... gone. Steve Saunders who apparently pissed off everyone... gone. The problems in our organizations are gone. Can we get back to our daily Lamar Jackson conversations now.

Our daily circle of Lamar convos?

Good point, but he had the best defense since the 2000 Ravens to work with. It's not even possible to build a defense like that, it takes luck, health, unexpected players stepping up and basically all the stars aligning at once.

To be that good, a defense basically has to have zero holes - it's not something you can even plan for. Building a top offense is so much easier, but you can't do that with a game manager.

you can, It's just much harder.
The 9ers did it, and the only reason they failed is because their game manager got hurt and was playing with one option, the handoff. We spend so much money on our defense, I think it's the #1 most payed defense in the league. It has some of the most talent, but not health. I just want to see it in action, and because of that, I'm ready to let Lamar go.
