If there are injuries than it could be for sure. But I'm not sure why everyone is freaked out about a group that has

Madabuike
Washington
Jones
Urban

With Queen and Quan behind them and Oweh, Ojabo, Bowser and Houston next to them. We may also keep Nichols who's decent depth or sign someone else.

I mean you're basically swapping Pierce and Campbell, and its the same as last year. I think we've perhaps lost some pass rush potential out of the group, but it was never a strong pass rush group to begin with.

Be much more concerned about our pass rush group. Oweh hasn't blossomed yet, Ojabo is a total wild card, and you basically have no veterans you can rely on at the moment.

Pierce has had a few injury issues in the past, and things get kinda bad if he goes down again. And in general Madabuike is the only one that isn't a jag. Aside from him it's guys that take up a bit of space and that's really it.

I would think Ojabo def has a ton of potential, Oweh I would label as a full on bust(sorry!)

Washington is also good, and Jones has great potential. How dare you insult these amazing players

Yeah but I’m talking about the 53 not the gameday roster

I think the roster is in great shape right now - just think there’s not as many bubble guys this year vs other years pushing for those final spots and definitely not the sorts of guys you fear/regret letting go on cutdown days…

There’s no Isaiah macks, no tony jeffersons

And no guys like ardarius Washington in his rookie year where you really want to find a way to get him onto the 53 but struggle to work it out…

And also because of the relative health of the team with minimal offseason surgeries there’s not a lot of guys up in the air either to make things unpredictable

Pierce - can't stay healthy
Madubuike - OK, with only occasional flashes
Washington - consistent, if not spectacular
Jones - young but must show something other than being just another guy
Urban - just another guy, getting up in age

Nothing on a market to add to this group.

I am not confident.

you lose some rotational strength
But notably you only have one guy at 3-4 DE and it’s urban… your 3 man DL fronts look significantly handicapped with the loss of CC

You can put pierce at NT and madubuike at 3t but the step down from CC to either Urban or Washington at 5t is pretty massive

I just have opinions that are very different from the majority of these posters. Beatdown and my friends agree with me much more. It is very curious, isn't it?

Probably a consequence of only having 5 draft picks.

It's also early, a few condidates will probably emerge in pre-season to get us all worried about losing the next Tim Patrick or whoever.

anytime you post on social media, whether is a fb site or beatdown it's going to be negative. I'm sure they were also calling PQ a bust as well and he isn't a bust at all. Everyone thought Bowser was a bust also and he is far from a bust. Just took until year 3 to come on. Last year Oweh was playing better once Bowser came back, it's just how we were using him. I'm also hoping Dr. Rush can help him as well.
