Hamilton's great at a lot of things but I'm still a little worried about his lack of speed that showed up early last season. I'm not sure he'll ever be at his best in straight Safety role - I think he'll be better in a specialised Kyle Hamilton role.

It looks like the Ravens might be planning to do that by surrounding him with Williams' range and 2 fast ILBs, with another one in the pipeline. They'll probably be able to keep him close to the line of scrimmage most of the time.
I think Kyle's speed problem was mostly from hesitation or doubt. I know he's not the fastest but he's gfast enough and being confident in what you see and knowing the scheme will make a huge difference on the field.

Bro that shit was so wild, he was SOLD as soon as he saw a missed tackle. After a whole summer of practicing 2 hand touch, his first NFL tackle attempt was missed, and sizzle wanted to burn hamilton jerseys over it
Exactly. And if you're gonna miss a tackle, at least let it be against a mobile QB like Malik Willis.

He’s actually very fast
Has an extremely fast flying 20
Just he’s too long to get that instant acceleration in underwear vs other guys

So just wondering, what's everyone's thoughts on DHop or a DL acquisition. I don't see both happening and I can't decide which would benefit us more. I'm leaning toward Dline.

DL, i think we have 2 really good DL, a third who has great potential playing the 0-2, but that third guy is very young and unproven and beyond that it’s a rotation of guys who are at or just above camp body tier. I don’t believe We have a single 5tech on the roster, but I could be wrong there.

Urban's a 5 tech and Jones could probably do it too if Pierce is at Nose.

Can forget about the dhop thing.. i think he heading to bills or kc.. dhop pretty smart, if he wants the ball, he wouldnt pick us over them two at all. I do think we need a cb or dl though.
