Well, at the moment Bortles is outclassing Flacco, too.
ill be fair to bortles, the last 2 weeks he's shown genuine progress in terms of reading the field and decision-making in terms of what risks are the better risks to take and when to take them
his mechanics are still as inconsistent as can be and you never know which bortles will turn up but in terms of seeing the field and reading the game he's so obviously better than where he was 2 years ago

There were 3 elements to Bortles improvement the past 2 weeks, a lot of slant routes that Pats could not cover, receivers making insane grabs, and most important he is under virtually no pressure which is HUGE for a QB
