Dom McRaven
Hall of Famer
Not even watching the game, but this sounds typical of a Colts/Pats game.Sony Michel is running all over the Colts defense.

Not to mention even coming out that arm was merely adequate for NFL standards. Dude had an arm similar to Peyton. Deadly accurate sure, and he could easily make all of the throws. It was literally his one downside as a QB coming out of school. "Downside".His arm was fine last week - it’s obviously not pre-injury velocity but he’s still go a lot of power there - I think this is more the fact that he’s had no recovery time since Sunday and Sunday went to overtime and he had to play 90 snaps of offence - probably fatigue if anything
Have you not been watching? Luck is the primary reason they've been in every game. People call him overrated but he's got absolute garbage around him outside of 2-3 members of his supporting cast. I know we just drafted Lamar, but if Luck were to hit the FA market I would honestly want us to go get him. Fuck me, Luck with this defense would put us into instant dynasty mode, and I know Flacco has been playing well.I have a feeling the Colts will regret passing on a QB and trading down in this year's draft. I know they had confidence in his arm returning to strength but it just doesn't seem likely. I mean sure, it could end up biting them much like the Chargers letting go of Brees after his injury(though they did have Rivers) and Luck's arm returned to form with another team and he wins them a Super Bowl. But right now, it's hurting them. Luck's arm is still shot.
I went and sat on the porch in the sun with a beer after the end of the first drive in the two-minute warning. I checked the clock quite a bit later and was stunned it was still half-time. Games can honestly get so hard to watch, especially when I get the US telecast so it's the same ads for insurance, cars and Viagra every time. Irritating enough on their own but it gets much worse when they have literally zero relevance to you.The amount of ads on this Thursday night game is actually ridiculous - it’s way too many - this 2 minute drill is gonna take weeks
If anything I think it shows how incredibly transcendental Peyton was to win a title at all with that dumpster fire of a franchise. Not to mention even coming out that arm was merely adequate for NFL standards. Not to mention.. Andrew Luck like Aaron Rodgers, is literally his entire team so......

It's why I consider him to be the best QB I've ever seen. Yes, he had two hall of fame WRs, and a pretty good RB, but he has the same problem Luck does right now: no defense. It's no coincidence that the one year the colts had a good defense is the year they won a ring. Sure, Freeney and Mathis were a hell of a pass rush duo, but when you spend the majority of your career with next to no linebacking corps and safeties who are always hurt, and no corners, it's Peyton. If anything I think it shows how incredibly transcendental Peyton was to win a title at all with that dumpster fire of a franchise.
I 100% agree with you! Colts front offense depended on peyton too much. Didnt give him the defensive help that they should have. Pats on the other hand, i think i read some where that they were top 5 in scoring defense and top 10 total for every SB ring they have.. for me, arod is the best qb ever but GB just hasnt given him the defense that he needs. Theyre trying now,but last few yrs he have been really injury prone. Much as i hate pats, gotta love their front office and the moves they make to keep that team afloatIt's why I consider him to be the best QB I've ever seen. Luck is that talented too, but Luck doesn't have two hall of fame caliber WRs, and does not have two great pass rushers.
If you switched Andrew Luck and Blake Bortles, the Jaguars likely go undefeated and the Colts likely don't win a single game
pats are gonna cause problems regardless of what defense they play! They have way too weapons now imo. Cant even double team anyone more. This game actually made me more worried about the Pats because against a real defense or an actual offense they lose that game
Leveon should’ve come back while Connor was strugglingConner just took over the whole drive for the Steelers. Steelers on the board first
im officially afraid of the ChiefsChiefs up 20-0 over the Jaguars at halftime.
