I’m so happy he was not the pick, I don’t think there was ever a chance because even if the chargers took Zay I think we’re going cb instead, and while I would’ve forced myself onboard, I would’ve been very underwhelmed with QJ

That’s facts. Or mingo. QJ is a semi-burner and a full blown YAC specialist who is tall, not a big physical receiver.

Flowers' personality is so refreshing. Like absolutely nothing against Hollywood or Bateman or Duv but they're all these kinda quiet guys. And then when things don't go their way seem to chirp on social media.
Zay is a fucking dawg. And is a dawg in the face of being small, coming from a no name school, etc etc. Dude's talking about getting his jersey retired.

Can’t wait to watch this kid grow. Also hope Bateman pays attention to OBJ as well. We need him to step up, get his head right, and figure out how to stay on the field.

Yeah, WRs with that personality do a good job of rubbing off on other guys and getting them to step up. The only time I saw Torrey getting physical and going up for balls was after we got SSS.
He’s a YAC player with the body that teases you into thinking he’s an “x” when actually he and Zay flowers aren’t that different stylistically lol

Future looks bright for the wr corps and offense in general. If Lamar comes out and plays like he did at the start of the year with these guys we're making a run.
Bateman just needs to stay healthy.

I love Brandon Cooks, think he is so underrated. He's had 1000 yards almost every season, excluding his 1st season, the year he had multiple concussions and last year. If Zay Flowers was anything like Cooks, it would be a big win.
My hot take is that Cooks has been a top 10 receiver for the last 3 years
