Plus Ozzie will never straight up abandon Joe 2 years after extending him.
My opinion is that we need to draft a RB on the first two days of the draft next year. Wether you think Dixon is the future or not, we need to get another RB to complement him or take the lead role. I don't believe West is a consistent enough threat to carry our offense, and Woodhead won't be here long.
I personally would love to have Quenton Nelson in the first round (because he's an extraordinarily good prospect that would make our OL terrific and Roman would make a misery out of opponents' front with him and Stanley on the left side) so that would leave us choosing on Day 2. Prospects that have caught my attention are Akrum Wadley (not really a secret now), Damien Harris and Nick Chubb.
Chubb, provided he regains some of his lost explosiveness, is the incarnation of a workhorse, a guy you can eaily feed 25+ carries and who will hurt and tire the defense, while also being able to break a long one on any given carry. He isn't a perfect prospect even if he comes back more explosive, as his pass catching and protection ability leave something to be desired.
Wadley and Harris are more speed backs that can still absorb hits and take a lot of touches. I see them as Kamara like weapons. While Harris is the more athletic and faster back, Wadley has better vision, patience and agility to make people miss. He is a nightmare in the open field. If you believe one of West or Dixon can be the workhorse and carry the load, one of these two can be 15+ touches players behind them and will consistently exploit holes in the trenches or screens or dumpoffs and when they do, they'll consistently turn upfield for first downs and more.
Other RB that I like but still need to be convinced are Scarbrough and Ronald Jones. Jones is pretty great but can he take the pounding? He looks very slim for a RB. Scarbrough is honestly nothing really special imo, I like the violence that he runs with but he doesn't have burst or explosiveness in his lower body to wow you. He's stiff and won't make a lot of players miss.

Granderson, DE 91 from Wyoming has been a goddamn game wrecker vs Iowa today. He looks like a big deal, definitely keep an eye out for him.
Also, who the hell is 56 from penn state? That big bastard makes brandon Williams look normal. Edit: it's tyrell Chavis and he's listed at 6'3" 296, and that's bullshit, this guy is well over 300lbs and mostly muscle, he is a monster, and a junior, another guy I'll be keeping an eye on

If you read me a little bit this summer you know I liked Auden Tate and Damien Harris, and they did nothing to disappoint me yesterday.
Maybe @29BmoreBird22 will be able to tell us more about him, but I'm starting to like Adonis Alexander. Tremendous poise, when covering and ++ physical attributes.
Actually meant to make a post about him following the VT-WVU game...
He's another in the long line of Bud Foster defensive backs that are going to get drafted high. He's long, fast, and has plus ball skills. He's the prototype you want in a press corner and he's especially sound as a tackler.
I think he has a chance to go in the first two rounds. VT uses so many different looks and alignments that he'll have been asked to play every type of coverage and every secondary position in all likelihood- and he's expected to do it all well.
Basically, he's everything you want in a corner. Height/weight/speed/ball skills.
That matches my opinion on him. I have an early second grade on him for now. I think he needs to use his hands more and use the boundary to really control the WR more than just follow him, but for now his ability to mirror receivers and still keep his eyes on the QB is really promising.
I think he'll end up being a top 50 pick and a really quality corner for a team.
He's obviously not going to be able to play the slot like some teams want and he can stand to improve hand usage, but he's a long, aggressive corner with ball skills. Seattle probably is drooling.
Apparently he got clocked in once at 4.92 in the 40. Can't imagine that's remotely close to it now. He's a pretty solid 4.5 guy.
Yeah and the fact that he can go from press to off or zone just screams Seattle.

If josh Allen somehow ends up in Baltimore then I'll be counting down the days til he takes over. You can't quantify traits like joes clutch factor and playoff success, but as far as quantifiable traits go, I'll take josh Allen over flacco, I think he's the best qb since famous jameis

I think there's a strong possibility that they're there for both actually. Flacco's been getting worse over time/is getting up there. I have to appreciate all he's done for us(no one can ever take that SB away from him), but it might be time to start preparing for the future. I doubt Allen is going to fall to us in any capacity, but he's probably 3rd on my QB board behind Darnold and Rosen.
Personally, I'd take Darnold first overall for most teams, but I think Rosen would have the most success in Baltimore between the three.
