The Good, the Bad, and The Ravens

Jax is $13M OVER the cap with some really albatross contracts. I'm sure they can get under pretty easily, but could they afford to pay a guy like Joe? I don't think so. But Denver is sitting cozy at $29M under.
Damn I have no idea it was that bad for Jacksonville. Denver on the other hand is a no-brainer and with Kubiak there I would assume that it would be his next destination.

I'll be waiting to hear about what a great week of practice the Ravens had. It has to be one of the most overrated barometers of future performance. Have heard time and again a team that gets whupped saying they never saw it coming because they practiced so well all week.

Seriously, where is the lie? Tired of hearing about this lol.

Mosley was abused on about 4 3rd downs today.

One was a quick out in man coverage of mccaffrey. A difficult assignment but one he stood no chance on, should have been young, of either variety.

The missed pitch to moore. He looked like he stopped for a second thinking it was an incomplete pass and then couldn't make the angle.

A pass right up the middle to olsen, he bit on the under route on a player that was covered by another raven.

He missed a tackle for a loss on a run up the gut by mccaffrey.

If we give this guy a lead leading contract for his position itl show me the new front office lead by de costa don't understand this league either. He's a 2 down player that plays 3 downs

I don’t know why anyone would be discussing us drafting a QB. An organization doesn’t give up ona 1st round QB in one season without even giving him a chance.

Assuming Harbaugh gets fired the 1st interview question will be “How do you envision putting Lamar in a position to succeed”. Any prospective coach will know that their job will hinge on developing Lamar, not replacing him with “their guy”
Thing here is he’s not a “1st round QB” if we didn’t make him one, comparatively on the cheap. Ozzie’s farewell pick if you will. As was mentioned numerous times after the draft it’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t pan out. So yeah, no. Not saying that’s the case yet, but new coach or not, if he doesn’t look the part they won’t gamble trying to make him the guy just because he was chosen in the first round.

I don't either. Also, I think Lamar can be pretty good in pros.

The first time in a while I turned a Ravens game off before halftime. Pretty sad. Big changes need to be made.

I agree. Get an offensive genius in here to run the team and he’ll be a stud.

That was clearly a miscommunication. He was obviously looking for a comeback
Comeback? Lol. Why would he be looking for a comeback? I’d have to look at it again but it seemed like a set deception play to free up Snead on the outside. He was standing there by himself ready to catch the pass and score. It looked to me like Lamar just threw a 30 yard pass 15 yards.

to me that looked like a triple option pitch play that they ran sorta successfully later in the game with lamar...
basically lamar realised i think that the play wasnt going to work and saw snead and tried to force it there despite that not being any of the actual pre-determined options on the play but didnt set his feet - if i recall correctly he was almost square to the endzone with feet set when he threw it

terrible pass but i think maybe it was because it wasnt ever supposed to be a pass

2020 should be a good QB class. I’ll be mad if Flacco gets another year and we bypass drafting a QB in 2020 to see how LJ do. I say let 2019 be LJ’s tryout and see if he’s a QB

Just watched it again, it was definitely a pass option play. He was rolling to the right looking at Snead in fine position to make the pass. He just short armed it. To quote Green, “he was so wide open he tried to hand it to him”. Maybe not the end of the world, but killed momentum .

100% you could see immense pressure was lifted off him after his 2nd pass.

Are there any news on Stanley?
To answer your question, I don't know about news, but I know he wanted to go back in. I'm not sure if he did or not. I didn't look close enough.
