If the argument is that Monken did not have an audible in case of a blitz, you are arguing Monken is the worst OC in the NFL, because that is one of the worst situations I could imagine for an NFL coordinator.

However even if that were the case, then the correct thing is to call timeout rather than go “I’m going to for sure get sacked… oh well”.

Roman was pretty famous for not allowing audibles and allowing very little leeway in his play calling.
