The Lamar, The Defence and a case of the Dropsies

Yeah but big time players don't do what we saw today. Even our best players are the store off brand.

I get what you are saying. You don't need big time players to catch those passes except for the Andrews one in coverage who by the way is said big time player.

Man I was banging the table for Ojabo. But we gotta move back to a world where we don't draft significantly injured guys and same thing in FA. This team has to get healthy and needs to get back to being physical

You're right. Which makes it all the worse. Those were off brand plays and they couldn't even make those.

Also can't get over the fumble opportunity. Have 1st and goal and Gus rips it up the middle to cut the distance to half immediately. Then we try a cute little Andrews toss and lose a yard. Then we dial up a low percentage throw in the first place, with Lamar throwing his worst pass of the day turning into an INT. An awful sequence from coaching and the players. I know we've been effective in the red zone but that sequence from Monkey was reminiscent of force feeding Zay in week 1 and only coming away with 3.

I think we are beginning to find out that OBJ is not that good anymore.

It was a gamble grabbing him and we lost.
I think that's been the case for a bit. Hard to envision someone taking a full year off of football and returning to a high level of play.

Still, it seemed to be one of the dominoes in getting Lamar signed, so I'm fine with it.

Yup. We’re going to have to revamp the WR room again this off-season. Nelly and obviously Zay can stay. Everyone else can kick rocks. We really need to go hard after Mike Evans. @Dom McRaven he’s an early #SIIE candidate for me

Obviously this wr corp isnt good, only zay/aghlor why edc paying obj instead of d hop lol

the defense is going to get exposed against top level qbs this team is fradulent

The most annoying thing about this loss again is that it's not like we went out there and just got beat because the Steelers were better. We got beat from the top down becuase of... Awful coaching decisions. Awful execution. Awful mindset. Mistake after mistake.

We're 5-0 because we beat ourselves twice.
This game reminded me so much of the Titans playoff game back in 2019

I'm not going to crap the OBJ pick because we were all hopeful he was going to be atleast decent for us. But out of the two we should of got D hop.

Bateman, Zay, Agholor, OBJ looked really good on paper. But now we see Bateman is a Drama queen bum, OBJ is continuously hurt, zay is a rook that looks very promising, Agholor has looked good most of the time.

Sometimes I wish this team would stop over valuing picks and hoarding picks and just trade for proven players. Anyways, thats a different discussion.

Bruh..... Tyler if they jump... DON'T MOVE! Yeah we beat ourselves badly.

Damn that’s unfortunate. I just can’t find it in my heart to be mad at my baby daddy

Linderbaum is taking the heat but 80% of the offense seemed to know the snap count which raises an eyebrow. Zeitler looks like the only one that truly didn't expect the snap. Maybe a WR too.

Yeah his play calling was similar to that animal
yes that set of playcalls once Edwards got 3 yards was bad, but I'm not putting this game on Monken. This game is on the WRs. They lost this game for us and Flowers who had a very bad fall that could have been a 70+ yard td pass and a drop could have had a hell of a day. He should have known the play as well. Once he threw up his hands we should have just run it on the next play. We get 3 points there we probably end up with the win.
