Why is it only Lamar getting it done? Our RBS are getting it done as well and our Oline has drastically improved also and our D has been playing much better why is it only the QB who has to take all the good and bad?
The RBs are playing better because we have a system that allows them to succeed, based on lamars talents.

The OL is given a huge advantage every snap with defenders pausing and guys being eliminated from the play with the read option

Our D looks better because they are playing 20 minutes per game and don’t have to go defend after consecutive 3 and outs and a 2 minute rest.

The qb is getting credit because without running his style of offense we can’t do any of this shit. Gus Edwards isn’t a world beater, this same defense was inconsistent at best with joe and playing for 25+ minutes a week, yet the anti lamar crowd likes to point to gus and the defense and attribute the 3-0 streak to that, knowing goddamn well that gus and the defense wouldn’t be doing this without lamar.

Without Lamar starting the o-line and rbs are avg less then 100 yards a game including in that number the gadget plays lamar was in.
Take those plays out and the number is lower.

With Lamar they are avg over 200 yards a game.

What more do you need to know?

BUT MAH SUPERBOWL....

Lamar is now 3-0, the offense looks better than it has all season, the defense is also playing better from staying fresh all game, and people STILL want to put Joe back in. Unbelievable.

I really think we win this game, no idea why, just a feeling. 30-33

Keep their offense off the field with our run game and wear down that defense that is historically bad. Keeps the defense fresh to try to get to Mahomes. LJ has to get the fumbling under control, that right there could be the reason Joe starts, but i dont think he should.
I think our chances shot up incredibly to win this game after KC VS OAK. They nearly lost that game to a bad team. They’ll likely have Berry back so that’s my biggest concern but we can win this game. I didn’t think we had a chance with Hunt but I do now. We must sell out to stop the pass and then stop the run. The middle of the defense will be an issue because we can put Jimmy or Humphrey on Kelce and the other on Hill but if they go over the middle I’m more worried because we just can’t cover there. Reid will certainly see that so we need good play from the safeties but good news is I think Weddle will earn his paycheck this game. We absolutely need Tim Williams back and healthy. I wouldn’t bring Joe back today either because of these pass rushers. Or we want to bring him back do it at home vs TB,

At this point I can't watch another Packers game so I don't even care if Rodgers left. They have ripped my heart out this year.

im sorry dude - the 2 big bonuses to this are that you get a new head coach (which is always exciting) and the more you lose the higher your pick in the draft and therefore the shinier and more exciting the new 1st round draft pick you get is

you need to be rooting hard for the saints to get knocked out of the playoffs early so your 2nd 1st round pick is higher in the draft too

I'm pulling for you guys the rest of the way.

The team is also electrified right now. You could sense it after the game in the locker room. That is something you can't make happen, you can't bottle it, it just happens. That electric energy IMHO is a great thing to have when the AFC North title belt is in sight

Yeah, one thing that can't be argued right now is that this is a better TEAM with Lamar at the helm. He's brought energy to the offense and the entire team with his play. Is he playing great football? Hell no, but he's still out there making plays and energizing this team. That should be far more important to anyone than whatever the stats suggest.

that is bad analysis of the RGIII drive and what was happening schematically
Especially the talk of the first half plan was to protect lamar from rookie mistakes. False, we ran far less than we should and forced the pass. After the run heavy worked at the end of the half, we went back to it with lamar and blew it wide open

I think this is Tank’s secondary account. He just doesn’t want to believe Flacco was the problem.

I’m not going to go out and predict a W, but I’m not going to rule anything out for the Following reasons:

1. Yes, Arrowhead is a TOUGH place to play, however, I don’t think the Ravens have ever lost there.
2. The TOP battle will be essential, if they can take the air out of the football(not literally of course), control the clock, keeping the matchup to the Ravens run game vs. the chiefs suspect defense, while keeping the ravens defense fresh and the explosive chiefs offense on the field at a minimum, it then evens things up matchup-wise a little more.
3. The offense has to keep mistakes to a minimum, ESPECIALLY the fumbles. KC is obviously a much better team than Atlanta, and you can’t afford to put the ball on the carpet against the elite teams on the road and expect to win.
4. The division, for the first time in weeks, is so close to the teams grasp that they have to be salivating at the opportunity to right their wrongs and save this season and their coach’s job. Before Pittsburgh lost, I was under the impression that this was a game that Baltimore would take a “nothing to lose, let’s see what happens and shock the world” type mentality for this game. With Pitt losing, it has to make them a bit hungrier.

All in all, it’s going to be tough, and it will speak volumes as to the current state of this team, and how “post-season ready” they are. Win this one, and the division becomes a potential reality rather than the pipe dream that it was not too long ago.

Yea Hill and Kelce is going to a huge issue for us. We need to get pressure from the outside to keep Mahomes in the pocket and Henry and Bwill are really going to have to hold their own. We can not afford a single turn over and we have to force one.

Also, all points matter, but we need to get TDs every chance we get. Red zone FGs will be the death of us against a team like this

Keys to the Game
  1. TDs not FGs
  2. ZDS pressure up the middle
  3. Michael Pierce making KC 1-dimensional
  4. Create positive defensive plays on 1st down to prevent hurry up
