If Lamar starts this game and leads us to beat the Chiefs in KC and therefore to a 4-0 record what is everyone’s opinion then? Will we say the Chiefs lost to our defense or make some other excuse? Also if we lose this game will people say he isn’t ready and use it as a reason to show why Flacco should start?

Most people thought this game was a loss WITH Joe Flacco so that’s why I ask this now.

If he starts and we win in arrow head I will buy in 100% that's a game that would impress me unless he plays awful and our D really does carry us somehow but I dont think we can have a had offensive day this week the D will get atleast 20 points scored on them

Good question and I don’t have an answer. It could be that John is worried about change. It could also be that his assistants advised against it. Perhaps Marty and Dean have their input on who starts for their respective sides of the ball and John trusts them to make the right call? Maybe Marty didn’t want Lamar to start yet because he didn’t think he’s ready and that’s why Lamar hasn’t had many chances to throw? I mean Marty does do the game plan. Maybe even Steve wanted to keep Joe there—who knows. To be fair it would be hard for any coach to go to a rookie QB from their established veteran even if they are struggling when that veteran started the year off looking very very good on offense.

I agree that it’ll take a good game to win. That’s why I was wondering what people think before a game because anyone can say they thought something after a game.

I found some posts here on the Chiefs forum interesting. Like every forum they have people betting against their team expecting them to lose and others who think they’ll win handily. Can’t say I blame them but it’s cool to see how other teams see our team.

Essentially if you sum it all up you have people who think Lamar will he figured out by Reid and that his success will be ended here. They also say they’re better defensively at home but that’s expected. Apparently they think Carr and Weddle will have good games against them

That OP is horrible. Alex Collins starting RB averaging 3.5. Brandon Williams the meanest NT in the league. 2 “pretty good” corners but weddle is the tits apparently.

Lets hope Andy Reid is coaching his team with this stuff in mind lol

I have read through the entire thread and they said some interesting stuff. Apparently they play LAC Thursday? So they’re on a short week and I am somehow hoping that means the Chiefs and maybe the fans overlook this game. If the fans overlook it then that’s still a win because it’ll reduce that home field advantage of theirs. Apparently the way to stop Lamar is drop 7 in zone and have 3 down linemen. Not sure where the other player on defense goes maybe he just eats some popcorn. Lol this should be good.

Yeah they don’t know what they’re talking about on us and that’s why I try to see other forums to get a gauge on our opponents because we aren’t fans of those teams. Those guys know their team better.

I feel like we know the chiefs better than they know the ravens though. It appears that way often when another message board is linked here.
