I found some posts here on the Chiefs forum interesting. Like every forum they have people betting against their team expecting them to lose and others who think they’ll win handily. Can’t say I blame them but it’s cool to see how other teams see our team.

Essentially if you sum it all up you have people who think Lamar will he figured out by Reid and that his success will be ended here. They also say they’re better defensively at home but that’s expected. Apparently they think Carr and Weddle will have good games against them
A couple big pieces of misinformation in the lead most significantly not noting that Gus has been the lead back during this 3 game win streak and has been killing it. The other is that our Bengals win came when Dalton was out.

One notable misconception is “our D should stack the box and force Lamar to throw from the pocket”. As if the opposing D didn’t take exactly that approach over the past three weeks. The problem is their defenses have not been good enough to stop the run when they knew damn well it was coming. Is the Chiefs D good enough to force that?

The theme I agree with is that if we turn the ball over we have zero chance of winning. Lamar is going to have to play a perfectly clean game to win and that might be a lot to ask. Grind clock, be efficient in the red zone and play clean (no turnovers and no devestating penalties) and we got a shot.

That OP is horrible. Alex Collins starting RB averaging 3.5. Brandon Williams the meanest NT in the league. 2 “pretty good” corners but weddle is the tits apparently.

Lets hope Andy Reid is coaching his team with this stuff in mind lol
Yeah some of that was bad. But at least he noted we have arguably the best kicker in modern NFL history.

Yes please do and while we’re at it let’s ban everyone who mocks Sledgehammer for the sTrOnG sAfEtY. I think this place is getting a bit uptight
Considering I got sent a private message being warned that im going to be banned if a harrass and disrespect the admin again - because I said “saying the raiders were more likely than the chargers to beat the Steelers was the dumbass comment of the week” apparently that’s harassment, keep in mind I didn’t @ anyone or name any names. Just a general statement that is also true.

So yes i agree it’s getting uptight here.

Does not including the @ mean that you harassed the entire board?

Real talk:

If Lamar starts this game and leads us to beat the Chiefs in KC and therefore to a 4-0 record what is everyone’s opinion then? Will we say the Chiefs lost to our defense or make some other excuse? Also if we lose this game will people say he isn’t ready and use it as a reason to show why Flacco should start?

Most people thought this game was a loss WITH Joe Flacco so that’s why I ask this now.
If he helps us beat the Chiefs then he needs to be the starter. I do think the hate on Flacco has been too much over the years, but it's obvious he's not prime Flacco anymore. I think the injuries and all the shots he's taken over the years have taken their toll. To compare him to a past Raven, we saw this happen with McNair as well.

If Lamar beats the Chiefs, the second best team in our schedule and gives us four straight wins, then we have to stay with the hot hand.

And if we lose to Chiefs, which realistically is the most likely outcome, we need to start Joe again after that?
That's just ridiculous.

Did I say to start him again? I literally just said that the injuries have gotten to Joe isn't prime Joe anymore due to the type of injuries that forced a past Ravens' QB to retire. Stop jumping to conclusion in your hunt for Lamar haters.

Jesus, everyone is so divided and hyper vigilant to jump to the defense of their guy at QB. It's like half the forum has turned into a group of Don Quixotes wanting to play hero and defend Lamar.

I am not jumping to conclusions. You said "If Lamar beats the Chiefs, the second best team in our schedule and gives us four straight wins, then we have to stay with the hot hand."

So, my logical conclusion is that you think if we lose, we need to change the QB.

I am not defending Lamar because I like him more than Joe. I am sick seeing that there still could be any doubt what the Ravens should do going forward.

Haha - yeah the see how he likes getting hit and stacking the box to stop Lamar was brought up by Shannon and deion sanders basically just said to him cold “you think you’re the first person to come up with that idea?”

Agreed. This fanbase has never been as volatile as it has been for the past couple weeks. Way too much flock on flock hate out there. People really need to lighten up.

I disagree. These past few weeks yes you’ve had your Flacco vs Lamar, but we are still winning. This site goes for shit when we lose a couple games in a row.

But at least when they lose a couple games in a row everybody is usually upset together.
