Next Up: vs. Detroit

I think it's a deeper philosophical problem, personally. There still seems to be this thought that we can just pound the ball on the ground and run the clock when we're up like we used to, but that's not the team we are at this point. We get ultra conservative late and regularly put the offense in 3rd & 7 types of situations because we run the ball on 1st and 2nd down and only grab a yard or two.

I also think it's philosophical and it's outdated af imo

If there’s ever a game to unleash the downfield threat it’s the Lions. I’m telling you , in person I could see the Bucs WRs running free consistently. They kept missing cuz Baker sucks or the pressure wouldn’t allow him to step up.

I wouldn't say it's outdated. The main issue is just that we don't have good enough of a running game to make it work. Our line is far from dominant even when healthy, and our RBs are only average.

Yeah im really worried about our run game. Without it, we wont go far in the playoffs if we get in.

So we haven't gotten Harlan or Romo/Nantz but FOX is giving us their A team of Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen for Sunday's game.

Ya Baker missed some bad ones. That secondary is clearly exploitable

Been a long time since I thought a Lions game would be a challenge to win... eventho we've had some close ones with them in the past.

Keaton has tremendous speed. Breakaway speed that no other running back has.
I want him to get some playing time !!
The Ravens have always liked to see young RBs tick a lot of boxes (I'm guessing pass pro and the mesh point) before they let them see the field, so maybe they won't want to risk it in a tough game like Detroit. I hope I'm wrong though
