Nobody has disputed the Ravens as contenders. Problem is there are more contenders in the AFC than the NFC. In the NFC it is 49ers and then a gap and then the Eagles/Lions/Cowboys (pick your order) and then maybe someone will try and sell you on Seahawks. In the AFC it is the Chiefs, Bills, Ravens, Dolphins, and you cannot ignore the Bengals if Burrow gets healthy, and there are people who would try to sell you on the Chargers, Browns, and Jags.
