The Missed Tackles, the Injuries and the Special Teams

Defense has been playing ridiculous basically all year, it’s been a long start to the season, they faced maybe the most physical offense in the league and the only defense competing with ours this season, this team is in dire need of a bye week to regroup, the week prior we shut out a superior offense and absolutely dominated them and rolled on offense, y’all always act like afc north matchups don’t play out crazy all the time. We might fuck around and get our heads kicked in this Thursday and then get our acts together after that.

Y’all are wild declaring this team not good enough to contend lol. Every team has issues and ugly weeks. Still a top 5 roster, elite qb, and quality coaching staff

AFC North games will always be a dog fight. Can't turn the ball over. Both of our division losses were losses because of turnovers.
 
I expect these kinda loses within divisions but at this point us losing these type of gams how we did is really looking like its a lamar problem.
 
Well on a positive note , not signing Derick Henry is working out pretty well so far. What a shot of life Mitchell has been for this offense.

All of this that you're saying is true. But I don't know how many times I can say it. It's not about this week. It's about the same core issue going back to the beginning of last year. This team doesn't have the "it". The Chiefs will lose some games. They'll even get blown out. But they don't have a years long resume of gifting games away that they were up two or more scores in to inferior opponents.

If we want to win the division then we must beat the Bengals this Thursday. I understand some of the overreaction but some act like this was just another game and it wasn't. Shoot take the two NFC blowouts we had and swap them for the losses against Pitt and Cleveland and were good lol. Yall know divisional games are more important playoff wise.

I agree that we are still definitelysuper bowl contenders, but the fact remains that this was a battle between the 1st and 2nd best defenses in the NFL and theirs stepped up and made the plays while ours collapsed. We made watson look like a top 5 qb in the NFL in the second half that is embarrassing
 
Honestly, I'm starting to feel like we don't throw the football enough.

Lamar today only had 23 passing attempts today. I do think that had to do with time of pocession but we need to make more attempts to get Bateman, Agholor, and Odell more involved. If we believe this is the best group of WRs we've ever had then they need the ball more. Lamar is tied for 21st in the league in attempts. If he's our franchise QB, should we really be that low in attempts?

Beyond that, Keaton got only what, 3 carries? How? He's your most explosive RB and I really don't see how the guy who made the biggest play out of all the RBs doesn't get more involved.

OL got bullied really bad, multiple plays where Mekari was blocking Garrett/Za'darius one on one and got wrecked. Pretty concerned about that unit on the outside honestly, Bengals got pretty good edge rushers too.

I don’t know why but it felt like the Ravens were forcing the ball downfield too much in the 2nd half. Seems they abandoned the run and the quick wins underneath. It ended up being Lamar running for his life while routes developed and then forced it when there was nothing there.

Yeah, I'm not really seeing that "it" factor with this team either. Not yet and that's a shame after 10 games.
